My Life is connected to arts and touching clay from my childhood. I grew up on the riverside, and for me it was very natural to touch clay and sand from my early ages. I started to study ceramics in art high school, after I applied to Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design where I graduated as a porcelain designer in 2011. In 2013 I won the Moholy-Nagy Design Scholarship for one Year to design porcelain products to grow herbs indoor. I studied from 2013- 2016 at the Doctoral School of University of Pecs in Hungary. In my las year I applied with a woodfire projekt for a one Year scholarship at Kanbe Zaidan in Japan. I won the scholarship and by the recommendation of Masakazu Kusakabe –who I met in Hungary at International Ceramic Studio ,Kecskemet,Hungary- I started my studies in Mashiko on 2015. I felt in love with the environment and pure clay of Mashiko. As I used to work with porcelain mainly, it was quite challenging for me to complete my goal: dig and process my own clay and fire in wood kiln, by using the glazes I make myself from local ingredients (rice husk, rice stam). In my style I mix old traditional forms with my own shapes intuitively. For me the clay I’m working with is a partner, by following it’s carachter and nature I compose the shapes (functional or abstract), and use the glazes on them.
