おはようございます！すでに59名ものみなさまにご支援いただき、31％の達成からスタートを切ることができました＼(^o^)／ありがとうございます。

今日は、応援メッセージをくれた元SALAのスタッフ（現在岡島に移住しSALAではLong vacation中ということになってます）フィリピン人ジェンさんからのメッセージです！

SALAのスタッフ、お客様、業者さん、すべての人をジェンさんは笑顔で溢れさせてくれました！

It was my first time working in a restaurant with other nationalities. 

At first I was hesitant  because this kind of work is very different from the field which i was doing in the Philippines but due to SALA's vision which is empowerment  I applied and decided to work with them.

 I was thankful that I made the right decision because the working evironment is very comfortable and making me feel at home as if I am with my family who supports, cares and helps me grow as a person. 

As a social worker by heart and by profession I observed in SALA  that they are practicing  some of our principles and the vision particularly "empowerment" which is giving power to ordinary people especially the women (mothers), who in reality have the lesser opportunity of working compared to men.

 In Sala, our voices are being heard, our opinions and suggestions are important in the decision making for the improvement of   SALA as a whole. I am grateful that  I was given a chance to work with Naoko San, Papa and all the staff.

 I hope that someday I can work with you again someday! Good luck and more power!

ジェンさんからの力強いメッセージ。さよならではなく「またね」で笑顔で別れてまたそのあとで悲しくてわんわん泣いた日のこと、鮮明の覚えています。また一緒に働ける日まで。

なんどかSALAにも会いに来てくれたジェンさんファミリー。いつもみかんやレモン、昆布、お土産に持ってきてくれます。

写真は岡島へジェンさんに会いに行って、ジェンさんが好きな木登りを一緒にしたところ。一緒に働いているときはマンゴーの木に登って涼しい場所で本を読むのがすきだという話を聞いていました。でも神戸では木登りする木なんてないよね、って言ってました。

違う地でもいきいきとしたジェンさんやご家族に会えてすごくうれしかった日です。登った木から見える美しい海、あびる潮風、ほんのり香るレモンやみかん畑の匂い、忘れられないです。また行きたいな。何よりジェンさんファミリーに会いたい。
