2026年5月、ひとつの新しい場所が静かに扉を開きます。

それは単なるカフェでも、単なるレストランでもありません。

人が集まり、つながるための場所です。

Koala Tree Café & Dining は、とても個人的な想いから生まれました。

このプロジェクトの原点にあるのは、英語スクール Hello Daniel KIDS です。

温かさと開かれた空気を大切にしながらゼロから築いてきた、オーストラリアスタイルの小さな英語スクールです。

この8年間で、奏の杜・谷津・津田沼エリアの多くの子どもたちの成長に寄り添ってきました。

やがてスクールは、単に英語を学ぶ場所ではなく、家族や地域がつながる「もうひとつの居場所」へと変わっていきました。

カフェは、その同じ想いから生まれました。

「保護者の方、近所の方、生徒、友人が、同じ空間で自然に座って過ごせる場所をつくれたら？」

「シドニーのカフェが持つ、リラックスしていて温かい空気を、この街にも届けられたら？」

そんな願いから始まったのが Koala Tree Café & Dining です。

私たちがこの地域で育んできた信頼とコミュニティを、今度はコーヒーと食事、そして“集まれる場所”として形にしていきます。

☕ オーストラリアのコーヒーカルチャー — Single O とともに

オーストラリアにとってコーヒーは、単なる飲み物ではなく文化です。

私たちは、オーストラリアを代表するスペシャルティコーヒーロースター「Single O」の豆を提供します。

品質、サステナビリティ、生産者への敬意 — その姿勢は、私たちの価値観そのものです。

オーストラリアの人気レストラン「bills」でもSingle Oの豆が使用されており、同じコーヒーカルチャーをこの街で共有できることを誇りに思っています。

Single Oの豆は両国で焙煎され、シドニーで評価された果実味やハニートーンの個性、そして倫理的な調達へのこだわりをそのまま受け継いでいます。

一杯一杯に意図を込めて。

テイクアウトでも、ブランチでも、記憶に残るコーヒー体験を届けます。

コーヒーの時間には、甘いものが寄り添います。

店内では、オーストラリアのカフェに着想を得た自家製デザートをご用意します。

スコーン、オーストラリアスタイルのチーズケーキ、ペストリー、バナナブレッド、トーストサンドなど。

シンプルだけど満たされるもの。

コーヒーと自然に調和するもの。

少しだけ立ち止まり、ゆっくり過ごしたくなる時間を届けたいと考えています。

金曜・土曜・日曜の夜、Koala Tree は少し表情を変えます。

シドニーのモダンダイニングに着想を得た、カジュアルなタパススタイルのディナー。

オーストラリアのワインやビールとともに、小皿料理を囲みながら過ごす時間を。

形式ばらず、急がず、

ただ、美味しい料理と会話を楽しむ場所です。

🐶🐾 パプチーノ＆ペットと過ごせるテラス席

Koala Tree Café & Dining では、ペットも大切な家族としてお迎えします。

テラス席はペット同伴可能ですので、お散歩の途中やちょっとした休憩はもちろん、ワンちゃんと一緒にブランチの時間もゆっくりお楽しみいただけます。

ワンちゃんにもカフェ時間を楽しんでもらえるよう、**パプチーノ（パピーラテ）**をご用意します。

バリスタグレードのオーツミルクを使用し、砂糖・甘味料・保存料不使用、乳製品不使用で、安心して楽しめる小さなご褒美です。

また、ご注文の際に安心してお待ちいただけるよう、ワンちゃんをつないでいただけるスペースもご用意予定です。

すべての家族に、小さなカフェ時間を。

Daniel — Founder & Owner

ダニエルはこの地域で10年以上暮らし、働いてきました。

Hello Daniel Kids を通して、奏の杜・谷津・津田沼の子どもたちの成長を見守り、自信を持った若者へと育つ過程に寄り添ってきました。

スクールは多くの家族にとって「もうひとつの居場所」となっています。

シドニー出身のダニエルにとって、Koala Tree Café & Dining はその延長です。

人が自然に集まり、つながる場所をつくること。

それがこのプロジェクトの原点です。

Matt — Head Chef

オーストラリア出身のシェフ、Matt は世界各国で経験を積んできました。

オーストラリア、スコットランド、アイルランド、日本などで、五つ星ホテルやレストランにて研鑽を重ねています。

正確さと創造性、素材への敬意を大切にする料理人です。

ブランチ文化の軽やかさとプロフェッショナルな厨房運営の両方を理解しています。

奏の杜・谷津エリアでは10年以上にわたり料理教室やコミュニティ活動にも関わり、地域に根ざした存在でもあります。

オーストラリア生まれ、日本で育ったShaunは、二つの文化を自然に行き来する存在です。

大学生であり、教育を志す彼は Hello Daniel Kids で講師として加わりながら、カフェではバリスタとしても関わります。

彼はこのコミュニティのこれからを象徴する存在です。

A Little Piece of Australia, Right Here in Our Community

In May 2026, a new place will quietly open its doors.

Not just a café. Not just a restaurant.

A place where people gather, connect, and belong.

Koala Tree Café & Dining was born from something deeply personal.

At the heart of this project is our English school, Hello Daniel KIDS — a small Australian-style learning space built from the ground up with warmth, openness, and care.

Over the past eight years, we have supported the growth of many children across the Kanadenomori, Yatsu, and Tsudanuma communities.

Over time, the school became more than a place to learn English.

It became a second home — a place where families and community naturally connect.

The café grew from that same spirit.

What if parents, neighbours, students, and friends could sit together in the same space?

What if we could bring the relaxed warmth of Sydney café culture to this neighbourhood?

Koala Tree Café & Dining began with that simple idea —

to transform the trust and relationships we’ve built into a place shaped by coffee, food, and connection.

☕ Australian Coffee Culture — With Single O

In Australia, coffee is not just a drink — it is culture.

We proudly serve beans from Single O, one of Australia’s most respected specialty coffee roasters.

Their commitment to quality, sustainability, and respect for producers reflects our own values.

Single O beans are also used at the renowned Australian restaurant bills, and we are proud to share that same coffee culture here in our community.

Roasted locally in Ryogoku, these beans carry the vibrant fruit-forward character, honeyed sweetness, and ethical sourcing philosophy that first defined Single O in Sydney.

Whether takeaway or brunch, we aim to create coffee moments that stay with you.

🍰 House-Made Desserts & Coffee Pairings

Coffee moments are often accompanied by something sweet.

Our menu features house-made desserts inspired by Australian café culture —

scones, Australian-style cheesecake, pastries, banana bread, toasted sandwiches, and more.

Simple, comforting food designed to pair naturally with coffee.

Moments that invite you to slow down and stay a little longer.

🥑 All-Day Breakfast & Brunch

Sydney is globally known for its brunch culture — fresh ingredients, creativity, and relaxed dining.

We bring that spirit here.

From avocado toast and seasonal plates to carefully prepared egg dishes, salads, and house-made desserts —

our menu celebrates thoughtful cooking and quality ingredients.

For children, we will offer additive-free, nutritionally balanced kids plates designed with care.

🍷 Tapas-Style Evenings

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, Koala Tree takes on a slightly different atmosphere.

Inspired by Sydney’s modern dining scene, we will offer casual tapas-style dining — small plates shared alongside carefully selected Australian wine and beer.

Not formal.

Not rushed.

Just good food, conversation, and time together.

🐶🐾 Puppuccinos & Pet-Friendly Terrace

At Koala Tree Café & Dining, pets are part of the family.

Our terrace seating is pet-friendly — perfect for a walk-by coffee, a quick break, or a relaxed brunch with your dog.

To include our four-legged guests, we will offer Puppuccinos (Puppy Lattes) made with barista-grade oat milk —

dairy-free, with no sugar, sweeteners, or preservatives — a safe little treat.

We will also provide a small dog-anchor area so guests can comfortably place orders while keeping their pets nearby.

Because every family member deserves a café moment.

🌱 A Space Designed for Community

This is not a chain café.

Natural textures, greenery, round tables for conversation, and seating designed for lingering — a warm space rooted in community.

Daniel — Founder & Owner

Daniel has lived and worked in this community for over a decade.

Through Hello Daniel KIDS, he has supported children across Kanadenomori, Yatsu, and Tsudanuma as they grow into confident young people.

For many families, the school has become a second home.

Originally from Sydney, Daniel sees Koala Tree Café & Dining as a natural extension of that journey — creating a space where people can gather, connect, and feel welcome.

This vision is the foundation of the project.

Matt — Head Chef

Australian chef Matt brings extensive international experience across Australia, Scotland, Ireland, Japan, and beyond, including work in five-star hotels and professional kitchens.

His cooking reflects precision, creativity, and deep respect for ingredients.

He understands both the light, vibrant nature of Australian brunch culture and the discipline required for professional kitchen operations.

For more than ten years, Matt has also been active in the Kanadenomori and Yatsu communities through cooking classes and local activities.

Simply put — he is the real deal.

Shaun — Educator & Barista

Born in Australia and raised in Japan, Shaun moves naturally between two cultures.

A university student and aspiring educator, he joins Hello Daniel KIDS as a teacher while also supporting the café as a barista.

With warmth, sincerity, and global perspective, Shaun represents the next generation of this community — confident, open, and connected.
