最初は100万円が私たちの精一杯かと思っておりましたが、皆様から頂いたたくさんの温かいご支援とご声援に、この３年間の暗闇の中にいた私たちの心に明かりが灯ったような気持ちが溢れております。
3つ目のネクストゴールである450万円達成を目指して、残すところあと少しの期間ではございますが一生懸命に駆け抜けて参りたいと思います！

「ポラリス流星群」のプロジェクトページをご覧くださり、誠にありがとうございます！
8月3日0時から100万円をゴールとして開始したプロジェクトですが、なんと開始から21時間で100万円を達成してしまい、8月7日現在では183万円ものご支援額となっております。
プロジェクト開始時点では「終了までに100万円を達成できるように頑張っていこうね」なんて話をしていた二人ですが、YouTubeチャンネルにクラウドファンディング開始のお知らせを書く暇もなく達成というスピード感。
今なら国語のテストで「沸騰石を入れ忘れて突沸を起こしたフラスコの気持ちを述べよ」と問われても即答できる気がします。

◆今後の展開について
早々に達成してしまった100万円というチョモランマなゴールなのですが、実はまだ私たちには資金が足りておりません。
エルゼの魔法装具(キャプチャデバイス)、マイク機材などなど、ゴールには(未達成が怖くて)含めていなかったものの中には喫緊の課題が山積みです。

そこで本題となるストレッチゴール(ネクストゴール)の出番なのですが、ただ「機材の修理や更新をしていく」だけでは、皆様の目に見える形でのお返しということにはなりません。
やはりご支援頂くのでしたらはっきりとした達成感が必要なのではないか？ということで、頂戴した資金を私たちの機材の修理や更新にも充てながら、以下のようなことを実現させて行きたいと考えております！
◆ネクストゴール：250万円達成(達成しました！！)
こぐま座α名義の新曲を３曲(前後)リリースします！
※実際の楽曲数は今のところ未定です、ご参考までにお願い致します。
最後にリリースしたのは2021年12月公開の「スネルの窓」です(「これまでの活動」欄に参考動画を掲載しております)。
それ以降は下記の「このプロジェクトを始めた理由」でもお話ししているとおり、チャンネルの存続に必死で全く活動できておりませんでした…。
「こぐま座α」名義での新曲制作。
今回クラウドファンディングを始めようと思った当初に２人で「何をゴールにするか？」という話し合いを重ねていたところ、話題に上がっては消え、上がっては消えを繰り返したゴールが、まさにこの「新曲制作」でした。
ご存知のとおり、当チャンネル「ポラリス流星群」はASMRを中心としたチャンネルです。
クラウドファンディングを行う上で「最優先すべきはASMRコンテンツの充実だ」と考えており、元々100万円をゴールとしていた(そしてそれが限界だろうと思っていた)私たちは、一旦は見送る決断をしておりました。
しかし今回、ストレッチゴール・ネクストゴールを考えるにあたって、チャンネル名「ポラリス流星群」の「ポラリス」とは「こぐま座α星」であること。
そして、歌活動もしていきたいという強い思いから、チャンネル名を「ポラリス流星群」に改名したこと。
…そんなことを思い出していくと、たしかにポラリス流星群はASMRを中心にしたチャンネルではあるけれども、だからといって「こぐま座α」まで除け者にしていいんだろうか？
その歌活動自体もまたポラリス流星群の一部なのではないか？
そんなふうに思えました。
活動実績に乏しく、知名度もなく、土台を作る時間もないまま活動自体が休止になってしまった私たちの「こぐま座α」ですが、この機会に今一度活動の機会を与えて頂きたいと強く願って最初のネクストゴールに設定致しました。

◆ネクストゴール：350万円達成(達成しました！！)
オリジナルのピアノソロ子守歌を制作し、皆様にじゃんじゃん寝て頂きます！
制作したオリジナルの子守歌は制作後に全体公開致しますが、１万円以上ご支援頂いた方(下記注意事項をご一読ください)に村瀬巴が自ら伴奏をピアノ演奏したクラウドファンディング限定バージョンを配布致します！
※全体公開バージョンは作曲者様の伴奏(インスト)で歌唱したものを予定しております。
※ボーカルは「巴歌唱バージョン」と「エルゼ歌唱バージョン」の２パターンを制作する予定です！！
●注意事項：楽曲をお贈りするリターンの対象となる方について
限定バージョンをお贈りする対象の「1万円以上のご支援」については合計金額で判定させて頂きます。

こんなに早くストレッチゴールを考えなければならないとは全くの想定外でしたので、リターン履行時期について、現段階ではまだ確定的なことが決まっておりません。
作詞や巴のピアノ練習などの期間を設ける必要もありますので、履行時期は2024年中(目標としては2024年前半)とさせてください。

エルゼの新衣装２着目を制作します！
皆様のご支援のおかげで、エルゼの新衣装１着目は無事制作が決定致しました！
しかし、長らく同じ服の着回し名人だったエルゼは思うのでした。
「月日に関守さんはいないのです。人件費高騰の時代、歳月も人を待ってはくれないのですよ。世知辛いものだけり(詠嘆)」
５周年の次は６周年です。今のうちに一着！もう一着さえあれば、もうこの夏の対策はばっちりです！
それに"ものだけり"とか言っているようでは夏休み明けの古典の授業で大目玉を食らいます。それだけは避けないとなりません。
ちなみにクリエイターさんのスケジュール的に、現段階で制作予約を行っても制作着手は今年の年度末以降になりそうです。
早いうちに布石を打っておくことが仕事でも勉強でも大切ですよね！

すでに私達のことをご存知の方はいつもありがとうございます！
YouTubeにて主に全年齢向けのASMRを提供しております、「ポラリス流星群」の村瀬巴とVtuberのエルゼ・フォン・エーデルシュタインです！
このたび、「ポラリス流星群」初のクラウドファンディングを催行する運びとなりました！
私達のチャンネルでは主にASMR系の動画投稿やライブ配信を中心とした活動を行っております。
一般に「ASMR」という名前を用いると、悲しいことながら性的な要素が入ったようなものを思い浮かべる方がいらっしゃいます。
ですが私たちのチャンネルでご提供するASMRには、そういった要素は一切ございません！
老若男女問わず、広く皆様にお楽しみいただけるASMRを目指して活動しております！
また、日本国内では「ASMRといえば耳かき」といったご認識の方もいらっしゃるようなのですが、日本国外では必ずしもそうではありません。
例えば「雨音」や「町の喧騒(ガヤガヤ音)」、「足音だけ」といったものもASMRというジャンルの中で人気を博しているんです！
私たちは日本語話者ではありますが欧州の生まれ育ちですので、英語での意思疎通はもちろん、価値観の部分でも日本と欧州圏のハイブリッドのような精神性を持ち合わせております。
そんな稀有な感覚を生かして、当チャンネルでは性的な要素が一切排された純粋に「心地の良い音」を幅広くお届けするASMRメインのチャンネルとして活動を行っております！
◆エルゼ・フォン・エーデルシュタインの新衣装
皆さんは、今年でエルゼがデビューして何年目かご存知ですか？
………はい！正解は、今年の11月で丸5年です！
でも何かが足りない気がするんですよね…そう、お洋服のバリエーションがっ！少ないんです！！
ということで！このたび、"ポラリス流星群"初のクラウドファンディングでは、まず「エルゼの新衣装制作」を一つ目の目的にしております！
△現在使用しているエルゼの衣装(左が1着目、右が2着目)
エルゼの衣装については、2020年に2着目のお披露目が行われたことを覚えていらっしゃる方もおられるかもしれません。
2020年はちょうど新型コロナウィルスが蔓延し始めた年でした。
そのせいで公私共々に悪影響が出て物事が上手く回らなくなり、YouTubeなどの活動でも(主に資金の面で)制約が大きくなってしまいました。
ここに至るまでエルゼの新衣装が制作できなかった理由もまさにそれです。
だけど、どうにかして新衣装を制作できないだろうか？
エルゼの周年、チャンネルの周年を重ねるたびにその思いは募っていくばかりでした。
最初の衣装や2着目の衣装に不満があるわけではありません。
しかし、「エルゼちゃんの新衣装はまだですか！」というキラキラしたお声を頂くたび、「どうにかして制作したい…」という気持ちは強まるばかりでした。
世間ではようやく脱コロナ、ポストコロナという声が聞こえ始めた今年ですが、まだまだ我々の力はコロナ前に遠く及びません。
チャンネル自体の勢いも、コロナ禍初期のAI騒動を境にガックリと肩を落としたままです。
でも！…いや！だからこそ！キリの良いデビュー5周年というめでたい日を迎える今年、皆様のお力をお借りして新衣装を制作したい…！！
今年から再スタートだからこそ、エルゼにも心機一転、新しい衣装で皆様と一緒にスタートを切らせてくださいませんでしょうか！
◆ポラリス流星群の公式サイト制作
クラウドファンディング2つ目の目的は、「ポラリス流星群の公式サイト制作」です！
公式サイトと言うとなんだか企業やゲーム、アニメなんかのサイトを思い浮かべますが、言い換えれば「ポラリス流星群のポータルサイト(のようなコンセプトのサイト)」を作りたいと思っております！
エルゼの新衣装制作からのエルゼデビュー5周年記念！というのは、短期的にはチャンネルが盛り上がると思うのですが、悲しいかな人間というものは色んなものに"慣れ"が来るんですよね…。
クラウドファンディングを通じてチャンネルを活性化させて、活性化させたあとに発生した資金をもとにASMR配信で使う機材類や音を出す道具を買ったり、はたまたイラストや配信画面の変化を季節ごとにつけてみたり…。
それらを行う原動力として、今回の衣装制作だけに頼るのは、いささか「持続性に欠ける」と私たちは考えております。
持続的な活動を行うためには資金が必要で、資金を生み出すためには新たな視聴者の方々を継続的にお迎えする必要があって、その際に一助となるのがこの「公式サイト」の存在なのです！
公式サイトを制作する狙いについてなのですが、先ほど申し上げたように「新規の視聴者の方にポラリス流星群というものを知って頂く」ということです。
特にASMRの活動にフォーカスしたサイトを制作することで、「ポラリス流星群というチャンネルはどういうものか？」へのアンサーが一目瞭然になれば良いな、という気持ちがあります。
現在我々の活動は、「YouTube」を中心に、「ニコニコチャンネル」でファンの方向けに先行情報などをお知らせする限定配信、「DLsite」「Booth」でASMR作品やグッズなどの販売、「Twitter」で各種お知らせやリプライでの交流を行っております(ほか、SpotifyなどでASMR音の配信も行っております！)。
これらのサイトは基本的に相互に繋げる力が弱く(運営母体が違うから当然なのですが)、TwitterからYouTube、YouTubeからDLsiteなどなど、別媒体への導線が弱いという課題がありました。
特にYouTubeの場合は「チャンネル自体の説明欄」と「動画(配信)の概要欄」くらいしかリンクURLを貼る場所がなく、欄の上のほうに様々なお知らせを書いてしまうと、各サイトへのリンクが下のほうに追いやられてしまって周知しにくいという悩みもあります。
そこで、我々の活動媒体を集約したポータルサイトを作り、各媒体から一旦ポータルサイトに誘導して情報を得て頂くようにすれば、それが一番早く活動趣旨や我々についてご理解いただけるのではないか？
そう思うに至り、このたびサイト制作を行いたいと考えている次第です！
◆キービジュアル・三面図制作
今回制作を考えているものは、
●村瀬巴とエルゼが二人揃ったキービジュアル
●村瀬巴とエルゼそれぞれの三面図
です。
まず「村瀬巴とエルゼが二人揃ったキービジュアル」について。
私たちのチャンネルを長くご覧頂いている方にはもうすでに周知のことと思いますが、私たち２人ともキービジュアルがございません…。
キービジュアルとは簡単に言いますと、その活動者の紹介を行う際に使う公式イラストのことです。
皆様もコラボ企画などで、イラスト付きで参加者の紹介が行われているのをご覧になったことがあるのではないでしょうか？
現状、我々がメディアや他活動者とコラボを行う際には3Dの立ち絵を使用するのですが、先述のとおり多くの方はご自身の公式イラストをお持ちですので、我々だけが3Dモデルの紹介画像ということが多いです。
そして明らかに“浮いて”います…本当に浮いています。
ですが今までは、動画や配信のサムネイルイラストの制作や機材費などに投資してきており、キービジュアルにまで資金が回せませんでした。
この際にぜひキービジュアルイラスト制作を行いたい！！
そして活動者として違和感なくその場に収まりたい！！
そんな切なる願いから、キービジュアルイラストをゴールに含めた次第です。
次に三面図の制作について。
皆さんはVtuberのツイッターなどで、両手を横に伸ばしたポーズで正面、横、背面から描かれたイラストがアップロードされているのをご覧になったことはありませんか？
これを「三面図」と言いまして、簡単に言いますと「活動者の容姿の仕様書」とも呼べるものです。
例えばVtuberであるエルゼの配信を例に取りますと、基本的に正面を向いた状態で配信しておりまして、衣装の背中側などがどうなっているのか分からない方も多いのではないでしょうか？
そういった我々の設定資料としては今までは正式なものがなかったのですが、このたび三面図の制作も行いたいと考えております！
「なぜ三面図が必要なのか？」
ごもっともな疑問だと思います。
これはズバリ、「チャンネルの活性化に繋がるから」です！
最近私達のチャンネルではファンアートを使わせて頂いた動画投稿を行っていること、ご存知の方も多いかと思います。
そのファンアートを制作して頂く際、正確な仕様が分かることによって、細部の意匠などに迷わなくなるんですよね。
そうすることで、今までは「衣装が間違ってたら嫌だな…」「想像で描けるけど余計に時間が掛かっちゃう…」と思われていたことが解消されて、ファンアートを描いていただきやすくなるんです！
(私達もイラストを描くので、設定資料の有無で制作時間が変わることはすごく共感できます……)
そうすると、イラスト制作にあたって懸念(悩むこと)が少なくなるので、頂けるファンアートの数が増えます。
ファンアートの数が増えると、その分だけ村瀬巴やエルゼが登場したサムネイル・動画内のイラストが増えるので、他のチャンネルとの差別化ができます。
「するとどうなる？」

ということです！！(大切なことなので二回言いました)
差別化というのはチャンネル運営でとても大切なことなんです。
皆さんも動画巡りをされている最中、同じロゴや同じイラストが使われている動画を何回か見ると、段々覚えていって「あっまたこの人だ！」となりませんか？
それと同じことが私達のチャンネルでも起きます。
そうすると、今度は私達自体を目的として訪れてくださる方が増えて、チャンネルが盛り上がるんです！
もちろんすぐに効果が出ることではないのですが、正式な設定資料を公開しておくことは、チャンネルを周りから固めていくために絶対に必要です。

◆村瀬巴とエルゼ・フォン・エーデルシュタインの3Dぬい制作
村瀬巴とエルゼ・フォン・エーデルシュタインの3Dデフォルメぬいぐるみモデルを制作します！
時々雑談ライブの時に口パクぬいとして使ったり、手に持ったり、動画の出演モデルとして使ったりすることで、村瀬巴やエルゼ本人とは違った趣向のコンテンツを提供したいと思っております！

こちらは元々、リターン品としてリアルぬいぐるみの制作に使うことを一番の目的にしていたのですが、リアルぬいぐるみ制作は本当に費用が掛かってしまうようで…。
リアルぬいぐるみのためのクラファンになってしまうので、残念ですがリアルぬいぐるみ計画は一旦白紙となってしまいました。
しかし今回3Dぬいモデルを制作することで、いつかリアルぬいぐるみの制作も進めてみたいなって二人で夢見ております！
◆何をするにも資金は必要。
単純明快に言ってしまえば、クラウドファンディングを始めた理由はこれがすべてです。
先ほど挙げた「エルゼの新衣装モデル制作」「公式サイト制作」「キービジュアルと三面図制作」「3Dぬい制作」のすべてに多額の資金が必要となるからです。
私達は2018年4月にチャンネルを立ち上げてから今までの5年間、クラウドファンディングを行ったことは一切ありませんでした。
特にYouTubeチャンネル開設から１年くらいの間はちょうど収益化基準の変更に伴って審査が大幅に遅延していた時期で、収益が一切発生しませんでした。
そのため、動画や音声の編集作業に必要な高性能PC・PCソフトやプラグイン類はもちろん、プロ用オーディオインターフェース、マイクやマイクプリアンプその他機材の導入、エルゼの3Dモデル制作や魔法装具(エルゼの動きを皆様にお届けする魔法のデバイス)などはすべて自己資金で揃えて参りました。
配信中に「全体でいくらくらい掛かりましたか？」などのご質問に対し、「中古で高級外車が買えるくらいです」とお返事しておりますが、これは嘘ではありません。
私達がここで申し上げたいのは、自己資金を出しているから偉いとか、クラウドファンディングをやらなかったから凄いとか、そういう事ではありません。
標題の通り、「何をするにも資金は必要」ということなのです。
◆コロナ禍になるまでは上手く回っていたものの…
繰り返しますが、どういう形であれ資金はどこからか調達しなければなりません。
自己資金を投入し続けるのにも限界がありまして、ただ現状を維持するだけでも機材類は当然劣化していきますし、そのメンテナンスにも費用が掛かります。
消耗品類の調達やASMR用の小物類(当チャンネルは耳かきのみならず、日本国外の楽器や祈祷用器具など、多種多様な音を取り揃えております)も同様です。
そういった日々の活動費用に加えて、新たなコンテンツを提供したり、新しい活動の土台を整備しようとしたりするなど大きな出費が行われるたび、私財を売り払って得た資金で賄っているような状況でした。
そんな中、ありがたいことに当チャンネルが成長していくに伴って、チャンネルから発生する収益金も資金源の大きな柱となりつつありました。
この収益金はチャンネル運営を行うためのとても大きな資金源となっており、それまではほとんど全額自己資金で賄っていたものを一部補填できるようになるなど、ある意味で自転車操業的だったチャンネル運営に明るい兆しをもたらしてくれておりました。
しかしその折、2020年初頭の新型コロナウィルスによって状況が一変してしまいました。
新型コロナウィルスによってYouTubeの運営がAIの運用を強化したことにより、AIの判断で当チャンネルのライブ配信が検索欄やおすすめ欄、トップページのおすすめなどに一切載らなくなるという状況が１年以上続きます。
なお、AIによって隔離された配信は、数時間の有人審査を経て隔離が解除されます。そして当チャンネルでは有人審査で隔離継続となったものは一つもありません。
つまり全くの事実無根で冤罪的な措置でしかありませんでした。
YouTubeのアルゴリズムとして、再生数が多くて人気のある動画や配信ほどおすすめに出やすくなり、再生数が少ないほどおすすめに出にくくなる、というものがあります。
加えて、ライブ配信で一番再生数が伸びるのはライブ配信中です。大体の場合、アーカイブとなってからはライブ中ほど再生数は伸びません。
AIの誤判定によって隔離された配信は再生数にほとんど寄与しなくなり、結果当チャンネルの勢いは完全に止められ、収益金が激減する事態となりました。
◆だからこそ皆様のお力をお借りしたい！
そういった状況ではありますが、大変ありがたいことに当チャンネルは全年齢向けのASMRチャンネルとして高い評価を賜っております。
2020年上半期に登録者数が10万人を超え、現在は登録者数14.5万人を擁するほどに成長させていただきました。
これはひとえに私達のチャンネルに足を運んでくださる皆様のおかげです。
とても辛い2020年でした。さらに辛い2021年でした。もっとどん底があるのかと知った2022年でした。
そのすべてで支えてくださった皆様に、この場をお借りして心からのお礼を述べたいと思います。
いつも私達を応援してくださって、温かい言葉をお贈りくださって、本当にありがとうございます。
コロナ禍が4年目に入り、世の中はポストコロナの機運が高まりつつあります。
しかし残念なことに、私達のチャンネルはまだまだコロナ禍の影響から脱しているとは言えない状況です。
チャンネルの勢いを復活させるためには、もっともっといろんなコンテンツを充実させていかないとなりません。
ですが2020年以降、生活費を最大限削ってお金になりそうな私財は売り、未来に希望を繋ぐために３年間踏ん張ってきた今の私たちには、もう現状維持が精いっぱいなんです。
今すぐに新しいことを始められる資金的に余裕はなく、かといって現状維持をし続ければ待っているのはジリ貧になった未来しかありません。
そこで、今回ポラリス流星群初めてのクラウドファンディングを通じて、私たちのチャンネルに新しい風を吹き込むための力を皆様にお貸し頂きたいのです。

◆チャンネルの沿革
2018年4月 村瀬巴がYouTubeチャンネル「ほんわかASMR」を開設。しばらくしたのち、チャンネル名を「ともえのほんわかASMR」に変更。
2018年11月 エルゼ・フォン・エーデルシュタインがVtuberとしてデビュー。それに伴い、チャンネル名を「ともえとエルゼのほんわかASMR」に変更。
2020年4月頃 チャンネル登録者10万人を達成。
2021年8月 チャンネル名を「ポラリス流星群」に変更。
◆主な活動内容
●ASMR活動について
私たちの最も大きな活動内容は、全年齢向けのASMR動画の投稿及びASMR配信です！
一般的に日本国内では、ASMRと呼ばれるものは「耳かき」が最もメジャーです。
しかしポラリス流星群では「耳かきASMR」のみに特化しているわけではありません。
例えばシャンプーや頭皮マッサージのほか、髪の毛をブラシで整える音、肩たたきの音、珍しいものであれば音叉やティンシャ(チベット仏教で用いる仏具)、レインスティック、ギロなどなど、他のチャンネルでは類を見ない道具を使用したASMRをご提供しております。
こちらの「就寝前のてんこ盛りパック01」は2018年9月に投稿したものですが、現在の再生回数は500万回を超え、当チャンネルを代表する動画となっております！
●村瀬巴とエルゼのASMR配信について
Vtuberであるエルゼ・フォン・エーデルシュタインのASMR配信においては、ほぼ毎回3Dでの配信を行っております(下記参考動画をご覧ください)。
配信時間は平均して4時間程度ですが、ここまでの長時間配信をASMR＋3Dで週１～２回コンスタントに配信を行っているチャンネルは他にはほとんどございません。
エルゼ自身の動きをしっかりお見せすることで、本来耳からの心地良い刺激のみに頼るところが視覚的にも楽しめるようになり、ライブ感や臨場感を持って当チャンネルのASMR配信をお楽しみ頂けます！
また視聴者の皆様とのコミュニケーションを多く実施していることも特筆すべき部分です！
当チャンネルでは登録者数が14.5万人ながら、「視聴者との会話あり」のASMR配信においては、頂いたチャットに対し全レスに近い形でコミュニケーションを行っております！
登録者数が多くなればなるほど当然チャットの流れるスピードが速くなりますので、視聴者の方へのレスポンスが失われてしまいがちになるのが一般的です。
当チャンネルでは活動当初からのコンセプトとして視聴者の皆様とのやり取りを行うことも大切にしておりますので、今後とも積極的に視聴者の方とのコミュニケーションを図って参りたいと考えております！
なお、もちろんのことながらエルゼのみならず村瀬巴もASMR配信を継続して実施しております。
(今のところ、定例ASMR配信として巴とエルゼがそれぞれ週一回ずつ、突発ASMR配信として巴が週2回程度行っておりますので、トータルでは巴のほうが週あたりの配信頻度が高めです)

最近ではアニメやゲームなどのワンシーンのパロディサムネイルを毎回制作しており、大変ご好評を賜っております！
●村瀬巴とエルゼの3Dショートアニメーション動画について
当チャンネルでは、Vtuberであるエルゼ・フォン・エーデルシュタインとの交流のため、人間である村瀬巴もまた3Dアバターという形で3Dの体を有しております。
それを活かして、当チャンネルではASMR配信や動画投稿のみならず、二人の日常会話をベースとしたショートアニメーション動画を投稿しております！
本来であればプロのエンジニアが必要な魔法装具(キャプチャデバイス)を、素人ながら２人で頑張ってハードウェア・ソフトウェア的に環境づくりをして、何とか長時間運用が可能なところにまで持っていきました。
これらのショート動画シリーズは、「率直に言って(ﾋﾟｰ)なんじゃないか」など通常では考えられない暴言が飛び出すシリーズとなっております。仲の良い間柄でしかやっちゃダメなやつ。
●オリジナル楽曲の制作、公開について
当チャンネルでは、上記のようなASMR配信や動画投稿、ショートアニメーション動画以外に、「こぐま座α」名義でのオリジナル楽曲制作なども行っております。

◆エルゼの配信で使用している魔法装具(キャプチャデバイス)の修復(更新)
エルゼは3Dデビューした2019年11月から現在の魔法装具を使用しております。
当時としても人間界でそれなりの車が新車で買えるくらいの価値があったそうで、導入から4年弱が経過した今でもかなりのスペックを誇るアーティファクトとなっております。
しかしながら、全身に装着する装具である関係上どうしても使用するたびに装具全体が損傷していきます。
これはエルゼの3D配信の頻度が増えていることに加え、配信時間自体も一般的なVtuberと比べてとても長いことが消耗を大きく進行させる原因となっております。
そのような中で酷使を続けた結果、さすがに損傷が激しくそろそろ更新の必要性を感じ始めてきました。
この魔法装具があるおかげで、皆様にエルゼの姿をお見せしながらお話ができ、ASMRを目でもお楽しみ頂けております。
逆に申しますと、この魔法装具が魔力を失ってしまうと皆様にエルゼの表情や身振り手振りを見せながらの配信ができなくなります。
せっかくエルゼの3D新衣装を制作するというのに、魔法装具が壊れてしまっては宝の持ち腐れですね…。
そのため本来は更新の優先度として非常に高いはずなのですが、チャンネル自体の状況が芳しくない中で他のことを優先してきた結果、今日まで修繕を行わないまま活動を続けてきております。
そこで、もしゴールの100万円を超えて皆様からのお力添えを頂けるようでしたら、まず「魔法装具の修繕(更新)」を行いたいと考えております！
◆ASMR配信などで使用しているマイクの修理(更新)
連日のライブ配信に使用し、ライブ配信のない日は動画用ASMRの収録にも使用しているため、お見せできないほどにボロボロです…。
特に私たちのASMR用途では、耳かき以外の様々な音を収録している関係上、過酷な環境にさらされる機会が多く損傷が進みやすい状況です。
マイクはすべてプロフェッショナル用のハイエンドモデルで揃えている上、マイク自体もかなりの本数があるため修理を行うにも費用がかかりすぎ、騙し騙し使っている状況です。
※当チャンネルでは用途に応じて複数種類のマイクを使い分けております。
また、それぞれに予備のマイクがあるわけではないので、修理に出すこともままならない状態です…。
そこで、損傷が激しいマイクの修理あるいは予備を購入するための資金として使用させて頂きます。
◆ASMR配信などで使用しているマイクプリアンプのオーバーホール
当チャンネルでは、マイク機材と同じくマイクプリアンプもプロフェッショナル用のハイエンドモデルを数台使用(各40万円程度)しております。
こちらのマイクプリアンプに関しましては、導入にあたって数十台以上の機材から聴き比べを行って選んだ結果、いずれも10年～20年ほど経過したモデルの音が最も良いと感じたため、生産から年数が経過したものばかり導入することとなりました。
その結果音質は大変満足のいくものになったのですが、内部の部品は経年相応に劣化してしまっているので、今回もし機会を頂戴できるようでしたらマイクプリアンプのオーバーホールを行いたいと思います！
◆チャンネル全体のブラッシュアップや新しいコンテンツ制作

今回初めてのクラウドファンディングということもあって100万円という金額が途方もなく感じられてしまい、当初は達成目標を減らして半分の50万円くらいにしておこう…という気持ちもございました。

As of August 7th, we have received an overwhelming support of 1.8 million JPY.
At the beginning of the project, we were just saying, "Let's do our best to reach 1 million yen by the end".
But the speed at which it was accomplished, even before we had time to write a crowdfunding announcement on our YouTube channel, is truly remarkable.
We now feel like we can answer even the most difficult questions, like describing how a flask feels when it experiences sudden boiling due to forgetting to put a boiling stone, on a language test.

◆Future Developments
We set an ambitious goal, akin to conquering Mount Everest, and surprisingly we achieved it early.
However, we still lack the necessary funds.
There are pressing issues that were not included in the initial goal (mainly due to fear of not reaching it), such as Else's magical artifact (Motion capture device), microphone equipment, and more.
For further details, please refer to the "Use of Funds" section at the bottom of the page.
Now, onto the main topic - the next goal.
Merely using the funds for equipment repairs and upgrades may not be something visible to everyone.
If we are to receive your support, we believe that providing a clear sense of achievement is essential.
Therefore, while allocating the funds to repair and upgrade our equipment, we also aim to achieve the following:

We will release three new songs under the name "Koguma-za Alpha(Polaris Alpha)"!
(Note: The actual number of songs is currently undecided, but please take this as a reference.)
Our last release was the song "Snell's circle" in December 2021 (you can find a reference video in the "Our Activities" section).
However, as mentioned in "Purpose of this Project", we have been desperately struggling to keep the channel afloat and haven't been able to engage in any activities since then.
Under the name "Koguma-za Alpha," we are now embarking on creating new songs.
When we first considered starting this crowdfunding campaign, we had numerous discussions about what our goal should be.
One goal idea came up repeatedly, then disappeared, and came up again - creating new songs was that goal.
As you may know, our channel "Ursids", mainly focuses on ASMR content.
We initially set a goal of 1 million JPY (and we thought that might be the limit) with the idea of prioritizing the enhancement of ASMR content.
Thus, we decided to put the new song creation on hold for a while.
However, when contemplating stretch goals and next goals, we recalled that the name "Ursids(POLARIS Ryuseigun)" refers to the star "Alpha Ursae Minoris(Polaris)" which is the brightest star in the Ursa Minor constellation.
Moreover, we have a strong desire to pursue music activities, which led us to rename the channel to "Ursids(Polaris Ryuseigun)".
...As we reminisced about this, we realized that while "Ursids" primarily focuses on ASMR, does that mean we should exclude "Koguma-za Alpha"?
Isn't our music activity also part of "Ursids"?
That's how we felt.
"Koguma-za Alpha" has a meager track record, no fame, and we lacked the time to lay a solid foundation, which led to the suspension of our activities.
Despite these challenges, we strongly hope that this opportunity will provide us with another chance to be active.
Hence, we set it as our first Next Goal.

We will create an original piano solo lullaby and have everyone sleep soundly!
After creating the original lullaby, we will make it available to the public.

●Regarding recipients of the music as a reward
The eligibility for the special version as a reward (for those who support with 10,000 JPY or more) will be determined based on the total amount of support.

Thanks to everyone's support, we have successfully decided to create Else's first new outfit!
However, Else, burdened with the punishment of wearing the same clothes forever, thought this way.

With one outfit already planned, all we need is one more, and we'll be fully prepared for this summer!

...Yes! The correct answer is that it has been 5 years this November!
But there's something missing... Yes, it's the variety of outfits! There are too few of them!!
Therefore, in this year's "Ursids(ポラリス流星群)" first-ever crowdfunding, our first objective is to create "Else's new 3D costume"!

As for Else's costume, some of you may recall that the second reveal took place in 2020, right around the time when the new COVID-19 began to spread.
This had a negative impact on both our public and private life, and things weren't going smoothly.

This is precisely why we haven't been able to create a new costume for Else up until now.
But could we somehow create new costumes?
With each anniversary of Else and the channel, this desire kept growing.
It's not that we're dissatisfied with the first or second costumes.

This year, we are starting to hear voices for a post-COVID-19 world, but we are still far from fully recovering from the impact of the pandemic.
The channel's momentum has also been declining steadily since the AI fiasco during the early stages of the pandemic.

◆Creation of the Ursids(ポラリス流星群) Official Website
The second goal of this crowdfunding is to establish an official website for Ursids!
We tend to envision something along the lines of a corporate website or a gaming portal, etc. when we mention an official website.
In essence, we aim to create a centralized platform for Ursids (or something akin to the concept)!
In the short term, as we celebrate the 5th anniversary of Else's debut and create a new outfit for her, the channel will be filled with excitement.
However, it's a sad reality that human beings tend to become "accustomed" to many things.
We plan to activate the channel through crowdfunding and utilize the funds generated to acquire new equipment for ASMR streaming, tools for sound production, and to make seasonal changes to illustrations and streaming screens.
Relying solely on the new 3D costume as the sole driving force for these activities may not be sustainable in the long run.
To sustain our activities, we need funds.
And to generate those funds, we must continue attracting new viewers.
This is where the existence of an "official website" can play a vital role in helping us achieve our goals!
As for the purpose of creating an official website, as I mentioned earlier, it is to "let new viewers know what the 'Ursids' is all about."
By developing a website that specifically highlights our ASMR activities, we aim to answer the question, "What is the 'Ursids' all about?" and provide visitors with a clear understanding of our channel's content.
Currently, we are active on the following platforms:
YouTube - ASMR live streaming, posting ASMR videos, etc.
Nico Nico Channel - Exclusive chatting live streams.
DLsite/Booth - Selling our ASMR sounds, goods, etc.
Twitter - Announcing several activities.
Streaming services (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).
There is limited integration between the platforms mentioned above, making it difficult to move users back and forth seamlessly.
Especially on YouTube, there are only two locations where we can post URL links: the "channel description" and the "video (live streaming) summary" section.
If we place the various notices (such as post videos, our second channel, other announcements, and so on.) at the top of the section, the links to each platform will be pushed down to the bottom.
So we thought it would be best to create a centralized portal website that consolidates all of our activities.
That's why we are eager to create our own website!
◆Creation of key visuals and three-view drawings

First, about "Tomoe and Else's Key Visual":
For those of you who have been following our channel for a long time, you may already know that neither Tomoe nor Else has a key visual...
To put it simply, a key visual is an official illustration used to introduce ours. You might have seen it in collaborative streaming, where participants are introduced with accompanying illustrations, haven't you?
We currently use 3D character models when collaborating with others.
However, when we place our images alongside 2D illustrations of other creators, it becomes apparent that our 3D models is out of place. TOO OUT OF PLACE.
This has been an issue we've been aware of for some time.
But up until now, we prioritized allocating funds for creating illustrations for videos, thumbnails, equipment expenses, and other aspects of our activities.
So, we definitely want to create a key visual illustration!
We want to fit into the collaboration scene without any out of place!!
It is with this sincere wish that we have included the key visual illustration in our goal.
Next, let's talk about the creation of three-view drawings.
Have you ever seen illustrations uploaded on Twitter of Vtubers drawn from the front, side and back in poses with their hands stretched out to the side?
This is called a 'three-sided drawing' and, simply put, it can be called a 'specification of the actor's appearance'.
For instance, Else mainly live streams while facing the front, which means many people are not familiar with the back side of her costume.
Until now, we haven't provided any official documentation of these details, but we are now planning to create three-view drawings this crowdfunding campaign!
"Why do you need three-view drawings?"
I think you're absolutely right to ask that question.
The answer is simple: because it boosts channel engagement!
Nowadays, we are using fan-art in many of our videos on our channel.
When creating fan-art, having access to precise costume specifications and other details helps artists avoid getting lost in the design process.
It makes it easier for people to draw fan art without worrying about inaccuracies in the costume or spending too much time trying to imagine it from scratch!
(As artists ourselves, we truly understand how having access to setting materials can impact the creation time... )
This will increase the number of our fan arts since artists will have fewer concerns when drawing illustrations.
The more fan-arts we receive, the more illustrations we can use in thumbnails and videos featuring Tomoe and Else, which sets us differentiation from other channels.

Differentiation is a crucial aspect of channel management.
When you watch videos and repeatedly encounter the same logo or illustration, you begin to remember it and think, "Oh, it's them again!".
The same applies to our channel!
In turn, attracts more and more people to visit our channel, which ultimately boosts the channel's popularity!!
Of course, it's not the kind of strategy that will yield immediate results.
However, in the long run, it will definitely lead our channel in a positive direction!
◆To create 3D models of plush dolls look like Tomoe and Else.
We will create 3D deformed plush doll models of Tomoe and Else!
These models can be used for lip-syncing during chatting live streaming, occasionally holding them in hand, and appearing as characters in videos. We hope to offer content with a different atmosphere from what we have now!

The 3D model we are currently creating was originally intended to be used for producing actual plush dolls as one of the rewards.
However, it turns out that manufacturing physical plush dolls would incur significant costs.
As a result, the real plush doll project is currently on hold... For now, we will focus on creating the 3D plush doll model only.
We hope to eventually manufacture real plush dolls in the future!
◆Funds are needed for everything.
Plain and simple, this is the primary reason why we started crowdfunding.
We require substantial funds for all the projects mentioned earlier: creating Else's new 3d costume model, developing the official website, creating key visuals and three-view drawings, and to model our 3D plushies.
In the five years since our channel's launch in April 2018, we have never undertaken any crowdfunding until now.
Particularly in the initial year after launching our YouTube channel, we faced significant delays in the review process due to changes in monetization criteria, and as a result, we didn't generate any revenue from our activities.
Therefore, we funded all the high-performance PC and software(video and audio editing tools), professional audio interfaces, microphones, microphone preamps, Else's 3D model creation, and magical artifact (the magic device that enables Else's movements) using our own money.
During our streamings, we've been asked questions like "How much did it cost overall?" and we've honestly replied, "Enough to buy a second-hand luxury foreign car".
Its not too much to say.
Our intention here is not to boast about being self-financed or not utilizing crowdfunding.
As the title suggests, "Funds are needed for everything".
◆Although running well until the Corona pandemic...
Once again, funding is essential, regardless of its form.
However, there is a limit to how much we can continuously invest from our own money.
Even if we simply maintain the status quo, the equipment will naturally deteriorate, and maintenance costs will arise.
The same goes for procuring consumables and other tools for ASMR.
Our channel includes a diverse range of items, not just earpicks, but also musical instruments and prayer instruments from Japan and other countries, all of which incur expenses.
In addition to the day-to-day operational costs, whenever we faced significant expenses, such as creating new content or establishing the groundwork for new activities, we had to rely on the proceeds from selling our personal belongings.
Fortunately, as the channel has grown, the revenue generated by the channel has become a major funding source.
These proceeds now play a crucial role in running the channel, bringing a silver lining to its operations, which were previously mostly self-funded.
However, the situation changed drastically with the onset of the COVID-19 in early 2020.
YouTube implemented stronger AI operations, leading to a period of over a year during which our channel's live streaming feeds were no longer appearing in the search section, recommendations section, or YouTube main page recommendations, all at the discretion of the AI.
The AI-imposed restrictions could be lifted after a few hours of manned review, and it's worth noting that none of our streaming have ever been quarantined after a manned review.
In other words, the accusatory measure implemented by the AI was completely untrue and false.
YouTube's algorithm operates in such a way that videos or streams with more views are more likely to be recommended, while those with fewer views are less likely to appear in recommendations.
Additionally, live streams typically receive the most views during the actual live streaming, and the number of views tends to plateau once the video is archived.
The AI's misjudgment of the censorship had minimal impact on the number of views, resulting in a significant slowdown in the channel's momentum and a sharp decline in revenue.

Despite the challenges we faced, we are incredibly grateful for the high reputation our channel has garnered as an all-ages ASMR channel.
In the first half of 2020, our subscriber count surpassed 100,000, and we have now grown to reach 145,000 subscribers, all thanks to your continued support and visits to our channel!
It was an arduous journey in 2020, and even more so in 2021. By 2022, we felt we had hit rock bottom.

◆Our main activities
●Regarding Our ASMR Activities
Our main focus is on producing and sharing ASMR videos suitable for all ages!
Unlike many other channels that primarily focus on "ear-cleaning" ASMR, Ursids offers a diverse array of ASMR experiences.
Along with typical triggers like shampooing and scalp massage, we incorporate a variety of unique tools and items such as hair brushes, shoulder tapping, and occasionally rare items like tuning forks, tinshas, rain sticks, and guiro.
The video "3 Hours RELAXING SOUNDS#01" was posted in September 2018, and it has now surpassed 5 million views, becoming one of the flagship videos on our channel!
●ASMR Streaming by Tomoe and Else
In Vtuber Else von Edelstein's ASMR streams, she primarily presents content in 3D format (see reference video below).
The average streaming time is around four hours, but there are very few other channels that consistently conduct such long live streams once or twice a week using ASMR + 3D.
By showcasing Else's own movements, you can immerse yourself in the channel's ASMR streaming with a live and realistic feel, going beyond just pleasant stimuli for your ears!
It is also worth mentioning that we engage in extensive communication with our viewers!
Despite having 145,000 subscribers, we make an effort to respond fully to the chats we receive during our "with listener chatting" ASMR streams, maintaining a close and interactive connection with our audience!
*We also conduct "no chatting with comments" ASMR live streams.
As the number of subscribers increases, the chat naturally picks up speed, and it's common for the interaction between the streamer and viewers to diminish.
However, from the very beginning, we have prioritized the concept of actively engaging and communicating with our viewers, and we will continue to do so in the future!
In addition, Murase Tomoe also conducts ASMR live streams.
(At the moment, each of them streams regular ASMR once a week, and Tomoe does surprise ASMR about twice a week, so in total, Tomoe streams more frequently per week).
In this crowdfunding campaign, one of the purposes is to fund the production of Else's new costume.
Therefore, we will only introduce the archive of Tomoe Murase's ASMR streams!
Recently, we have been creating parody thumbnails of scenes from anime, games, and more for each video, and they have been receiving a lot of positive feedback!

Since Else's 3D debut in November 2019, she has been using the same magical artifact (capture device) up until now.
At the time of its acquisition, this artifact was considered to hold a value equivalent to that of a decently priced new car in the human world, and even after nearly 4 years, it still boasts impressive specifications.
However, due to the nature of being a full-body apparatus, the equipment naturally incurs damages with each use.
The frequency and extended duration of Else's 3D streams, compared to typical Vtubers, contribute to the accelerated wear and tear.
As a result of such heavy usage, the artifact has started to show significant signs of damage, and we are beginning to recognize the need for an update.
Thanks to this artifact, we are able to present Else's appearance and engage in conversations with you all, while allowing you to visually enjoy her ASMR content.
Conversely, if this artifact were to lose its magical power, it would hinder us from delivering live streams where you can witness Else's expressions and gestures.
Despite the pressing priority for updating the equipment, we have had to prioritize other matters amidst the current situation of the channel, and as a consequence, we have continued our activities without conducting the necessary repairs until now.
Therefore, if we are fortunate enough to receive support beyond the initial goal of 1 million JPY, one of our primary objectives is to first proceed with the "Repair and Update of Else's Magical Artifact".

◆ Repairing(Updating) Microphones Used in ASMR Live Streams
The microphones we use for our daily live streams and ASMR recordings have been through so much use that they have become quite worn out and practically falling apart.
Since we use them not only for ear cleaning ASMR but also to record a variety of other sounds, they are subjected to harsh conditions, making them more susceptible to damages.
We have invested in high-end professional-grade microphones, and given the substantial number of microphones we possess, the cost of repairs becomes prohibitively expensive.
As a result, we are forced to continue using them even in their deteriorated state, which is far from ideal.
Additionally, we do not have spare microphones for each type, making it difficult to send them all for repairs at once.
Therefore, we intend to use the funds raised to repair the heavily damaged microphones or acquire new ones as replacements.
◆ Overhauling the Microphone Preamplifiers Used in ASMR Streams
In addition to our professional-grade microphones, we also use several high-end models of microphone preamplifiers (each priced around 400,000 yen) for our channel.
When selecting these preamplifiers, we conducted extensive audio comparisons among dozens of different equipment options.
While the sound quality has been incredibly satisfying, it's important to note that the internal components of these preamplifiers have naturally experienced some aging and deterioration(Because they are products that have been in production for 10 to 20 years).
Therefore, if we have the opportunity, we would like to proceed with an overhaul of the microphone preamplifiers!
