[私たち国際基督教大学サッカー部の所属する東京都サッカーリーグとは]

現在、国際基督教大学サッカー部は東京都サッカーリーグ４部に所属しています。昨年度は、今年度同様東京都サッカーリーグ４部優勝という目標を掲げ、3部昇格を目指しました。しかしながら前期全勝であったものの後期リーグは、幹事会への不参加が原因となり、参加資格剥奪という結果で終わってしまいました。今年度こそ４部リーグを優勝し、３部リーグ昇格という目標を達成します。しかし、代が変わって数ヶ月が経った11月に行われた新人戦では3部のチームと対等に戦うどころか、4部のチームにも敗れ、全敗という結果に終わってしまいました。学生主体の練習に頭を悩まされていた時に、大野元春氏からコーチのオファーを受け、3年で1部昇格という大きな目標を掲げることにしました。大野元春氏は、イングランドで指導者ライセンスを取得し、現在はオーストラリアサッカー協会公認Bライセンス取得手続き中です。オーストラリアでは国内2部リーグでU15、U18の監督を歴任し、チームをカップ戦準優勝に導いた実績があります。日本のサッカー環境では、大学サッカーが本気でサッカーに向き合える最後のステージであるという大野コーチの理念にチーム全員が賛同し、大野コーチと1部を目指す覚悟と決心をしました。指導が始まってわずか1ヶ月で成果が出始め、3部のチームに勝利を収め、社会人のチームともコーチが導入した新たな戦術で対等に戦うことができており、自信を持って目標に向かっている最中です。大学サッカーの強豪校といえばスポーツ推薦などの制度がある大学がほとんどというのが現状ですが、ICUはスポーツ推薦などがなく、部活動に対する力の入れ方としては強豪校に比べ至らないところもあるのが現状です。この状況の中で、掲げている目標を達成するには「プロからの視点や知識、上のカテゴリーでも通用する肉体や技術の強化」が求められています。

[練習用具などを部員が賄うことの限界]
部費はテーピングなどの医療用具や連盟に支払う登録費へと回されており、練習用具に手が回せていないのが現状です。さらに、外部コーチを雇うための費用ですら現在の状況下においては継続的に支払うことが難しく、「三年で一部昇格」のために必要な「知識や個々の能力の向上」達成が危ぶまれる状況になっています。今年度は、新入部員１５名も入部し、現役総勢２８名による活動でありますが、練習道具に十分なお金が回せていません。コーチに対する給与も足りていないという状況下にあるのが現状であります。
チームが強くなるためにはコーチを雇うほかにも、環境や道具、体づくりなども必要で、それにも費用がかかります。また、ユニフォームやスパイク、レガースを買うための費用、怪我をした際の診察費、治療費は大学生にとっては大きな負担であり、部費を値上げすることは部員がサッカーを続けるためにも避けたいと考えています。目標金額の130万円が集まった際には人件費（大野コーチへの給与） 約75万円（5ヶ月分）、設備費 約30万円、campfireへの掲載料（集まったお金の17%）約22万円に当てさせていただきます。

皆様からの支援でコーチからの指導を継続的に受け、また備品の購入にもあてさせていただきたいです。また、そのほか東京都サッカー連盟への費用等にも使用し、部員の負担をこれ以上増やさないためにも支援をお願いしたいと考えています。

４部に所属しており、サポーターが少ない私たちではありますが、部員全員が一試合でも多く勝つために一生懸命努力しております。

We are ICUFC, the official soccer club at International Christian University. We have 28 members in the team as of 2019, We ask for your generous support in order to strengthen the team and reach our goal of reaching the 1st division in three years. 

Goals

Since 2017, we have been practicing based on the principle “ICUFC+YOU”. This principle is based on the notion that we want ICUFC to be part of the community around us to provide entertainment for the people who come to watch our games. In order to realize this, we have renewed our profile page and promoted our games on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Although many of our friends, families, and former ICUFC players have come to watch our games, we failed to see many people who had no relation with the team. We were exalted to see the owner of a ramen store called “Gutara” come to watch our game since many of our members eat there. However, our goal was far from achieved.

Why now?

As of 2019, we are placed in the 4th division of the Tokyo Soccer League, which is the lowest out of all the divisions. In 2016, we were able to promote to the 3rd division, but relegated in the next year. The reality is that we have difficulty fighting for a spot in the 3rd division despite the number of members and talent that is present in the team. This is mainly due to the fact that we have been a student centered team, which means that the captain of the team comes up with the drills and contemplates on how to make the team stronger. 

This year, we came to the conclusion that there is a limit as to what a student can come up with, and that we will always be a team that can not secure themselves in the 3rd division. We also came to the conclusion that if the level of the team raises, people from the community will be more willing to come and watch our games. 

We need your support because starting from this year, we decided to hire a coach. A coach will be able to unify the team and give us professional advice on how to raise the level of the team. 

The coach that we hired has studied coaching in the United Kingdom for two years and has experience coaching a youth team in Australia. He came back to Japan in hopes to be part of the University soccer community and raise the level of the league. He called upon us in November, and his motivation and reliability assured us that he was going to make our team significantly better. 

Until December, we were unable to win any matches since September. However, after the coach came, we have been able to win most of the matches. We are now looking to win the Amino Cup, which is held on March 17.

The members of ICUFC is motivated than ever because we are practicing with a professional coach who is confident to make a weak team like us be able to fight against teams in the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st division.
