今現在、世界中が揺れています。

いろいろなところで様々なことが止まってしまっています。

そこで私たちも一旦立ち止まり考えてみました。

かつて人々は、自分の身の回りにあるものに感謝をし、愛することで、本来のいのりの姿を持っていました。

宗教や人種を問わず、あらゆる人たちがいのりという文化を育んできました。

今の私たちはどうでしょうか。

私たちが失くしてきたものは何でしょうか。

文明の進化に侵され、人間が本来の力を失い、このようなことになってきたのではないでしょうか。

これは人間が本来の力を取り戻せというメッセージではないかと感じました。

私たちのこの奉納が、奇しくもこの時期であったこと、そして日本をつくった最初の神であるクニトコタチミコトを祀った出雲大神宮という神域であったということは

たまたまの偶然だったのではないように思いました。

そこで改めてここに新型ウィルスの早期収束と、世界の安寧と平安をいのる奉納として予定通り実施をいたします。

The world is shaking all around us. Many things are at a halt right now and so we also had to stop and think about the current situation. 

In the past people appreciated those things that surrounded them, loved them and showed a feeling of thankfulness towards them. This action of thanking that that surrounded us was prayer in its purest form.

Everyone, regardless of religion or race, has nurtured a culture of “inori” (Japanese for prayer).

What about us now?

What have we lost?

Is it possible that we have lost something in the way as a result of civilization’s evolution? 

We must use this moment to think and remember what is truly important for us. 

That fact that this dedication is taking place at the Motto Izumo Daijingu, a shrine which worships the god Kunitokotachi ( the first god to be said appeared after creation in the Japanese mythology) and during such uncertain times, seems to be far from pure coincidence. 

We will therefore proceed with this dedication, wishing for the corona virus situation to improve as soon as possible and for the world’s well being and peace.
