Thank you so much for your contributions and supports.  I do read every single comment that came to my project on CAMPFIRE.  Very sorry for not being able to reply back to every and each of you.

I am so delighted to hear from some of you offering not to send return goods for your contributions, but to spend your donations for more towards my Christopher (Kuri-chan).  I really appreciate, thank you.

When this project ends, I should be able to export/download a list of all patrons with reference to which corresponding return goods, and etc. I will carefully cross check the list.

Here are some digest/summary of what I have posted on the CAMPFIRE.

Home: the Beginning

It was 22 Jan 2020, we first took a notice that Kuri-chan is ill.

He didn't move much, didn't play, stopped eating, stop drinking, high fever, etc.

Took him to the vet and treated for the possible mild cold.

He wasn't getting any better, and visiting the vet for the 2nd time on 28 Jan.  After series of some tests, taking some samples from his accumulated the ascites (abnormal buildup of fluid in the abdomen), he was announced that he is diagnosed with FIP (wet) and he is at mid-stage, and informed he could die within “10 days”.

Researched and learnt that the only “effective” treatment is to import very expensive medicine, MUTIAN, from China.  The Kuri-chan’s pet insurance won't cover such non-apprived drugs.

Kuri-chan is 3 years old adult, and helplessly, the 84 days treatment costs double/treble comparing to those of kittens.

Thus, I decided to set this project on crowdfunding asking to save Kuri-chan.

About Post 1: (published on 01 March)

Before and after the announcement of his infection with FIP at the end of Jan, Kuri-chan could no longer do much of his activities such as eating to playing, jumping to grooming, etc.

His 84days treatment started on 31 Jan 2020.

But soon after treating him with MUTIAN, the results were more apparent that he gradually showed the sign of strengths in him.  He could eat a bit, move a bit, climb a bed, groom a bit.

About Post 2: (published on 13 March)

Posted the data of his treatment from DAY 1 to DAY 40.

On 12 Mar 2020, Kuri-chan had taken his 42nd injection.  But it was only the half way of treatment.  After losing his ascites from his belly, he was doing better in terms of eating “a/d canned food” (prescription diet food).  But as he was gaining his weight, we had to increase the amount of injections to double.

As he is doing well with the treatment programme, the vet suggested to change from MUTIAN injections to taking capsules.

About Post 3: (published on 20 March)

Data from DAY 41 to DAY 48

The amount of injections had been increased from double to treble.

On 47th day, Kuri-chan did try to take the MUTIAN by the capsule of 6, but he vomitted.  He tried the capsule twice this day, but both time, his body won't take them.

I apologise for this unexpected way of losing the medicine, which in fact, will be paid from the valuable contributions.  Nonetheless, the unused MUTIAN capsules are return to supplier and the refund is in progress.

For Kuri-chan, he had to face a rocky road ahead that he will take injections until the end treatment...

About Post 4: (published on 21 March)

Obtained additional MUTIAN that lasts till the end of 84days programme.

As the MUTIAN supplier requested, I let Kuri-chan and his younger sister to play together.  This was whether to see his nerve system is working fine or not when he is in excite mode.

He had taken 50 injections. He screams at each time when injecting the MUTIAN but he has never ever attacks us.  He is too gentle to us.

He only eats a large spoonful of a/d canned food every 1.5〜4.0 hours, but he does manage to eat a whole can over 24 hours.

About Post 5: (published on 25 March)

Treatment DAY 54.  30 more injections remaining.

Kuri-chan is doing well but so many ulcers now on his back, the vet faces some difficulties that there may be only two more places can be used for injections.

The refund have been made for those capsules that I returned.

Only 5 more days to the deadline of this project.

I have been asking around on SNS to support this project, share, retweet.
