東京は世田谷区三軒茶屋にオープンして13年目を迎える老舗DJ BARのひとつ
「DJ BAR 天狗食堂 三軒茶屋店」の千田(チダ)と申します。

新型コロナウィルス感染症拡大の影響を受け、天狗食堂も他のクラブやDJ BARと同じく3月下旬より休業を余儀なくされ存続の危機にさらされる状況が続いております。

しかし、こんな状況だからこそ今まで培ってきたノウハウをもとに
東京ローカルのパーティーシーンを発信する配信事業にチャレンジしたいと思っています！

Greetings:

My name is Chida, an owner of "DJ BAR Tengu Shokudo Sangenjaya."
It's been 13 years since its opening in Sangenjaya, Setagaya, and it has now become one of the oldest DJ bars in Tokyo.

このプロジェクトで実現したいこと

具体的には天狗食堂の入っているビルの4Fにあたるテナント物件にて、
天狗食堂が運営を手掛けるレコード屋兼動画配信スタジオをオープンさせたいと思い
このプロジェクトを立ち上げました。

その名も「三茶ゃんねる」！！！

I want to achieve with this project: 

In concretely we launched this project to open a record store and a video streaming studio operated by Tengu Shokudo at the same tenant property as Tengu Shokudo is in.

東京ローカルミュージックシーンの発信基地を作りたい！

そもそもは自分自身も含めて三軒茶屋には沢山のDJやアーティストが住んでいるにも関わらず、ダンスミュージックを扱うレコード屋さんがないということで、天狗食堂の上の階にあたる4Fの空きテナントを使ってレコード屋さんを始めようと思ったのがきっかけでした。

協力してくれる仲間もみつかり、商品の仕入れや内装の打ち合わせなども進行していた矢先に新型コロナウィルス感染症の影響で資金繰りが苦しくなってしまいました。さらには自粛要請への協力に伴い3月中旬から天狗食堂自体の営業もできていない状況が続いています。

この現状を打破するためにも4Fを新たに動画配信スタジオの機能も兼ね備えた店舗にすることで、
東京ローカルのミュージックシーンの発信基地とし、三軒茶屋を中心に活躍するアーティストを軸に、様々なコンテンツを世界中の人々に届けていきたいと思いこのプロジェクトを立ち上げることにしました。

Why I started this project:

First, in Sangenjaya, there are many active DJs and artists including myself; however, there is no record shop for dance music at this point. Fortunately, the 4th floor of the property was vacant, so I started to consider to make that floor a record store.
I found supportive colleagues and set up the discussion of procurement of goods and interiors. But due to the outbreak of COVID-19, we've been facing a difficulty in funding.
In addition, even Tengu Shokudo has been shut down since the middle of March due to the virus issue.
In order to overcome this situation, we are aiming to continue this project to make the tenant to be a base of Tokyo local music scene, delivering various contents from Sangenjaya artists and others to the world.

これまでの活動

私たちは三軒茶屋駅から茶沢通りを下北沢方面に7分ほど歩いたビルの3Fにて
12年以上DJ BARを営んできました。

2008年のオープン当初より有名無名を問わず国内外の沢山のDJやアーティストに出演していただき、週末は安定の昼まで営業を続けることで東京ローカルパーティーシーンのひとつとして、その存在を確立してきました。

また店舗運営以外でもキャンプ場やビーチなどでの野外パーティーや、倉庫などを使ったウェアハウスパーティーを企画し新しい遊び場を提供してきました。

Past achievements:

I have been running a DJ bar for more than 12 years on the 3rd floor of the building along Chazawa-Street, which is a 7 minute walk from Shigenjaya Station into the direction to Shimo Kitazawa.
From the beginning in 2008, many DJs and artists from various countries have performed.
We have established a unique position in the Tokyo local party scenes by operating until daytime on weekends.
In addition to the bar management, we have done outdoor parties at campsites, beaches, and also warehouses to provide new playgrounds.

営業自粛中の天狗食堂と新店舗のレコード屋兼配信スタジオの両方で使えるドリンクチケットを中心にしたリーズナブルで実用的なリターンを用意しました。

それに加えて、この企画のために制作するオリジナルグッズ(T-Shirts・スリップマット・7inchレコード)を加えたリターンも用意しています。

さらにより強い天狗愛を注いでいただけるお客様には半年〜1年間のエントランス料金が全て無料になるプレミア会員カードを枚数限定でご用意しましたので、より一層のサポートをお願い致します。

尚、ご支援をしていただく際に、どのリターンも「上乗せ支援」をすることができます。
ご都合許す場合は、リターンの額に上乗せしてご支援頂けますと天狗存続の力強い支えになります。

For return:

We've prepared a reasonable and practical return such as drink ticket for both Tengu Shokudo and the newly opened shop/studio.
Besides, we are considering to prepare the original goods for this project such as T-shirt,
slipmat, 7-inch vinyl
For even stronger Tengu lovers, we've prepared Premier Membership Cards, which is limited in number, that will allow you free entrance for six months or one year.

When you are willing to support, we welcome multiple choice of support items for every return.
It would be more than welcomed if you could support on multiple returns.

※7Inchレコードに関しては納品予定日が決まり次第配送のスケジュールをお知らせ致します。

最後に

もともとはこの企画は天狗食堂の上の階が長く空きテナントになっていることから、せっかくならDJグッズも取り扱うレコード屋をオープンして、みんなが寛げる天狗食堂のセカンドフロア的な使い方ができればいいなと思い準備を進めていました。

本来であれば3月中に契約して5月にはオープンを考えていましたが…

そのタイミングで新型コロナウィルスの感染が広がり、緊急事態宣言発動→営業自粛要請と徐々に状況が悪化し、天狗食堂自体も通常営業ができない状況に陥ってしまいました。

そんなときに他のDJBARやクラブが動画配信や無観客ライブなどを開始しはじめたのを受けて仲間から「天狗もDJ配信しないの？」という言葉を聞き、自分でも国内外のいくつかの動画配信チャンネルをチェックするようになったのですが…

有名なアーティストの集客力に頼らず、お金をかけずともセンスのよい動画を配信するクラブミュージック系のチャンネルは海外のものばかりで、日本ではそのポジションを確立するものがまだないのではないかという事に気づいたのです。

10年以上DJ BARを運営してきた自分の知る限り、日本には東京〜地方を問わず無名の素晴らしい才能を持ったローカルDJが沢山いて、それを国内外の人にも広く発信できる場所があれば面白いなと思うようになりました。

そこでレコード屋さんの中でDJがプレイしている動画を配信しているインストアセッションを参考に、まずは三軒茶屋を中心に活躍するアーティストやDJのプレイを毎週定期的に配信していけたらと思っています。

天狗食堂という店舗やひとつの音楽ジャンルだけにとらわれず、他のDJ BARやライブハウスも巻き込んで、これぞ三軒茶屋というようなミクスチャーなミュージックシーンを音楽と映像で届けたい。

新型コロナウィルスという目に見えない敵が気づかせてくれた、新たなチャンスを実現可能なものとするために、是非とも幅広い方々の御協力を賜りたいと思っていますのでご支援宜しくお願い致します。

ちなみに本プロジェクトはAll-in方式で実施します。
目標金額に満たない場合も、計画を実行し、リターンをお届けすることを約束致します。

また目標金額を上回る金額が集まった場合には、配信事業に協力していただいたローカルな
出演者＆関係者に還元するとともに、店舗の音響設備向上に充てたいと思っております。

Finally: 

We started this project when we found out that the upper floor of Tengu Shokudo had been vacant for a while. So, we considered it to be the second base of Tengu Shokudo that connects customers providing records and DJ goods.
As the original plan, we are going to sign up in March and open the new store in May …

Due to the spread of COVID-19, the situation gradually grew worse, as the government revised from the emergency declaration into the request for business self-restraint.
As the result, Tengu Shokudo has not been able to operate on normal business hours.

At that time, I heard from friends that other DJ bars and clubs started video-streaming and no-audience show.
My friend told me, "Tengu should start DJ streaming, too."
I started to check several video-streaming channels; however,
I noticed that that there isn't a foundation in Japan that brings cool club music without spending much money and reliance on names of artists.

I experienced the management of DJ bar, and I noticed that there have been many local DJs around Tokyo and even in local cities, and I started to consider that we can share those to people through the world.
I will deliver DJ playing session like of other streaming in-store sessions, first active Sangenjaya artists on the main regularly.
Not only specific music genres and Tengu Shokudo itself, I want to connect other DJ bars and music venues and deliver the vivid pictures of the mixture Sangenjaya music scene.
It would be very grateful if you can support us. We want to make this plan true by changing the situation into the chance.

By the way, we proceed this project as all-in method. Even if the amount doesn't reach the target, we promise to proceed the plan and deliver returns.
