プロジェクト終了まで残り10日を切りましたが、目標金額200万円に達成し、200人以上の多くの方からのご支援を頂きました！

本当にありがとうございます！

緊急事態宣言も延期になり、5月7日より短縮での営業を考えていましたが、緊急事態宣言の解除まで休業することにしました。

このままだと2ヶ月以上収入がなく、その後もまだ先が見えず不安な状況は続きます。

その為プロジェクト終了までストレッチゴールとして

新たな目標額を『300万円』

としました！

☆We’ve hit the target! (May 20edited)☆

 With the project deadline away, we’ve hit our initial goal of【2million yen】, and we’d like to thank over 200 people who have helped us achieve this goal!

 Thank you!

 After the postponement of the state of emergency , we decided to operate under short opening hours from March7th. However, closing down was the decision we made until the declaration is lifted. 

 Under such circumstances for over 2months, we would keep having no income and we will keep seeing the uneasy situation until who knows when. 

 Consequently, we have made a stretch goal of【3million yen】 until the deadline!

☆はじめに☆

日頃より渋谷BAR『Conquistar』をご愛顧頂き誠に有難う御座います。

オーナーの鈴木勝己です。

東京渋谷、道玄坂の地下で小さなBARを2014年にオープンして、先月6周年を迎え7年目になります。

今回のプロジェクトにご賛同、ご協力を頂けるようでしたら是非ご支援をお願い致します。

☆First☆

Thank you to everyone for your patronage at the one and only, Conquistar, the bar located in Shibuya, Tokyo! 

 Many of you may already know, this is the owner, Katsumi Suzuki. 

 Since opening a small bar in the basement of Shibuya in 2014, we were able to celebrate the 6th anniversary last month, hitting the 7th now. 

 Your support will be greatly appreciated in advance for those of you who can participate in this project.

☆Conquistarを始めた経緯☆

大学を卒業して、飲食店に勤めてからいくつかの飲食店で働き、その後は身内の仕事や不動産など色々な仕事をしましたが、生意気だった自分はスタッフと喧嘩をしたり、上司に楯突いたりと、仕事が長く続かないダメ人間でした。

もう人に雇われるのはもう無理だと思い何かできないかと始めたのが、

『Conquistar』です。

☆How Conquistar was born☆

After graduating college, I experienced working in a couple of restaurants. 

Not long after, I hopped around helping out a friend’s companies, getting into real estate and so on. 

Can’t say I wasn’t cocky back then. I got in arguments with colleagues, talked back to my own boss, and each jobs didn’t last so long. 

 That’s when I thought, I no longer didn’t want to be employed by someone.

I wanted to start something of my own and came 「Conquistar」

☆Conquistarができるまで☆

高校生の時から渋谷で遊んでいて、その頃から渋谷で何かできたらいいなと思っていました。

いざ店をやろうと思ったものの、変な所が真面目に考え過ぎたり、臆病な所があってなかなか前に進まない自分を動かしてくれたのが、家族や仲間たちです！

☆The opening of Conquistar☆

Shibuya was the place to be since my high school days, and I’ve always had the ambition of wanting to take part in such a live city. 

 After long consideration of starting a bar, a strange anxiety of thinking too much got in the way and couldn’t take a step forward. 

That’s when my family and friends came in. They helped me make the move that I needed

I signed the contract and on to designing and picking interior furniture壁や天井は今とは全然違いました
The walls and ceilings now are completely different from what it was before.内装のペンキ塗りやデザイン、搬送などは仲間達が手伝ってくれたのですが、楽しくてなかなか進まず、結局そこまで変化がないのに1ヶ月半以上かかってしまいました（笑）

業者さんにお願いした方が空の家賃とかを考えると良かったのかも知れませんが仲間と作った時間は、今は最高の思い出です！

My friends helped me paint the walls and design the interior. Worst part was that a month and a half had passed since signing the lease, because it was too much fun spending time with them. The excitement of starting something was overwhelming!

Sure, I could’ve had a furnisher arrange everything, but the memories I was able to make with my friends are still priceless.

☆みんなが繋がれる店☆

自分は正直言うとバーテンダーには向いていないかも知れません。

常連の皆さんはご存知かと思いますが、自分はお酒を普段は飲みませんし、ちゃんとしたBARでお酒の作り方など習ってもいません。

そんな自分が決して立地も良くなく、一見さんもなかなか入らないような店で6年間もやれる事ができたのは、人の繋がりを大事しているからだと思います。

お客様はもちろん、スタッフも自分に関わる人間が、遊びや恋愛、仕事など人と人が繋がって行く事が嬉しいんです！

日本だけでなく海外からのお客様も友達になって、連絡を取ったり、また日本に来てくれたりと本当にこの店は自分にとって最高の場所です！

好きな音楽聴きながら、たわいもない話をしながら笑ってお酒を飲み交わす。

自分の家に友達を招くようなスタイルで今日のストレスを飛ばし、明日への活力になってもらえる様に心掛けています。

☆A place to connect☆

Honestly, I don’t think I’m the bartender type. 

As many of you regulars may know, I rarely drink. I’ve also never been taught how to make drinks.  

Keeping this bar open for 6years in Shibuya, where usually difficult to find for first comers, I think one of the reason Conquistar is still here today is because I believe in the importance of connection with people. 

 The customers absolutely, but also the staffs. 

It makes me happy to see my customers and staff connect; friendships, relationships, work partners, the list goes on.  

 Not only the customers in Japan, but foreign travelers that I keep in touch with return and that’s what makes this place the best thing that’s happened to me. 

 Listening to good music, having small talks, laughing and drinking. 

 I try to make an at-home environment for people to end the rough days with a drink, a place to regain vitality for tomorrow.

最高の仲間たち！

☆Conquistarを守りたい☆

そんな大事な店が今回のコロナウイルスの蔓延により、営業自粛の要請が『BARやナイトクラブ』と名指しで言われたのもあり、３月３０日から今日まで店を閉めております。

お客様、スタッフ、仲間、家族の命の為に早めの決断を致しました。

自粛要請期間の５月６日まで休業予定ですが、その後も延期するかもしれない、先が見えない状況です。

このまま営業が出来ず、売上がたたない状況が続くとスタッフ、家族の生活を守っていけるのかと不安しかありません。

そして自分の宝でもある

『Conquistar』

も存続できなくなるかもしれません…

☆Desire to save Conquistar☆

Amidst COVID-19 pandemic, we closed the bar from March 3rd as the Japanese government declared a voluntarily restraint of operation for 『bars and nightclubs 』

I made an early decision for the importance of customers, staff, friends and family health. 

 The future is unclear as we don’t know how long this will continue.

As long as this situation continues, the bar won’t be operating and I am truly uneasy about being able to support my staff and family. 

Moreover, I don’t know if I can save Conquistar, my treasure.

☆Campfireさんの力を借りて☆

BARと言う形態で行っているために食事などのデリバリーもすぐには出来る状況ではなく、ただ店を閉めてコロナの終息を待つことしかできない状況でしたが、何かできる事はないかと思い、融資や協力金、助成金なども調べて申し込みはしているのですが先延ばしでいつになるのかもわかりません。そんな中、近くのお店のオーナーさんが行うクラウドファンディングを聞き、そのオーナーさんからも承諾をもらい、今回『Campfire』さんの力をお借りしてやる事にしました。

このようなクラウドファンディングするのは初めてなので、ちゃんと伝える事ができるか不安ですが、文才のない自分が一生懸命書かせて頂きました…

これをきっかけに、まだ来たことのない皆さんにもConquistarを知って頂ける機会も作れて本当にありがたいです！

☆With the help of Campfire☆

Due to operating Conquistar as a “bar”, we’re not capable of food-delivery.

While thinking whether to sit and wait around until this Corona virus eases, I’ve applied for loans and subsidies. But realistically, the wait is long. At times like this, an owner who also holds a restaurant nearby shared with me useful information which was Crowdfunding. With consent, I’ve decided to use the help of “Campfire” to start this project. 

 I’ve never had experience with this, so I’m a little timid, but I tried my best to share my story with you. 

 On the other hand, I am thankful for this opportunity to let those who never knew about my one-of-a-kind bar in Tokyo to get to know who we are and how we managed to build such a history.

After succeeding in this project and comes a day when Conquistar becomes a home again for everyone, I assure you time of  laughter and happiness.

☆資金の使い道☆

ご支援頂いた資金は、コロナウイルスによる休業での当面のお店の運転資金として利用させて頂きます。

また、少しでも支援に余裕ができた時にはもっと来てくれた方が喜んで貰えるように設備投資にも回したいと思っています。

We will be using the collected funds for working capital caused by suspension of operation due to COVID-19. 

Further, if we have any leeways, it will go straight to capital investments to welcome customers in a more comfortable atmosphere.

今回、国、都からの要請を受けお店の長期休業を余儀なくされ、渋谷に限らず多くの飲食店、バーが大変厳しい状況となっております。
