「オヤジ、まだ生きろ!」心強いメッセージをたくさんの方々から頂いております。
感謝でいっぱいです！2010年BACKTOWN CAFEはオープンしました。

道玄坂、百軒店のこのDANDERUS.ST ZONEにわずか10年で押しも押されぬ存在感を示して来ました。迷い子達には叱咤、激励、ツッパリには人生を悟し,いつの頃からか
「渋谷のオヤジ」「渋谷のドン」「シゲパチーノ」とみんなに愛されるまでになりました。

私も若者達との会話がなくなれば「ただのジジィ」
まだまだ若くいたいのです。その願いでBACKTOWN CAFEの存続を望みます。

著名な客が来店しても、他の客同様に知らん振りを決め込んでいるので「心のオアシス」
「わが家」として重宝されています。これからもそのスタンスは変わりません。
所持金の少ない客には始発まで、地方から尋ねてこられる方には宿泊込み（カラオケ部屋）で心地よい思い出を作って帰れます。もうしばらくやらせて下さい、お願いします！

それと10周年を期して立ち上げた「裏路地レコード」まさにこのタイミングで？

その第一弾を、ストリートの原点、クリームソーダ山崎眞行氏（2016年3月没）のインタビューテープの編集の最中なのです。コロナのせいで頓挫させる訳には行かないのです。

「ゴールドラッシュ」「ドロップアウトのえらいひと」等などのミリオンセラー作家、
森永博志氏と進めているプロジェクト山崎眞行独白録肉声版「天上天下唯我髑髏」の編集中なのです。今この状態を考えれば、また経済的にも早めなければと思っています。

BACKTOWN CAFE has been truly Grateful of the success since the start of 2010. Within 10 years in the DANGEROUS ST. ZONE Hyakukendana of Dogenzaka Shibuya, the spot has proven its presence with the environment with the products which roam the alleys. BACKTOWN CAFE is a place to understand the realization of what life is. To communicate, learn and enjoy .

The main man running BACKTOWN CAFE also known as the “Shibuya’s Old Man ', “Shibuya’s Don” and “Shigepachi Pachino”. He would be “just an old man” if he did not have conversations with the younger generation. Young at heart and mind, still wanting to be young. With that wish, his hope is for BACKTOWN CAFE to continue to exist.

It’s a location that you can enjoy with just a little bit of money at the bar until the first train ride in the morning or live the late nights in the Karaoke Room. A spot for all generations, all backgrounds to connect in the last of the true Back Alleys of Dogenzaka.

Rojiura Records (Back Alley Records) has also launched during the 10th Year Anniversary of BACKTOWN CAFE and will soon be releasing a project with an audio interview featuring “Cream Soda” Masayuki Yamazaki (passed on March of 2016).

The project is called “Pink Dragon, The Yamazaki Masayuki History 1” .

Soon to be released project is being made and edited with respected million seller author/writer Hiroshi Morinaga, “Harajuku Gold Rush” and “Drop Out No Erai Hitozoku”.

Considering the current state of affairs with the effects of the coronavirus and the change throughout the world, I have considered the need to accelerate my finances. 森永博志　作家

自伝小説「あの路地をうろついているとき　夢見たことは、ほぼ叶えている」は、1970年代の20代の10年間に限って書いた。あの路地とは、渋谷百軒店のことだ。20代の前半は毎日のように、百軒店のジャズ喫茶、ロック喫茶、カレー屋などをうろつき、友人をつくり、夢を語りあっていた。まさに、青春の聖地だった。そして、いまも、シゲのバックタウンカフェでは、そのときの気持ちに簡単に戻れる。創作精神を刺激してくれる。夢を追える。いつまでも、灯をともしていることを切に願う。

最後に

10年前この場所にオープンした頃は、通りには素行の悪い人が多く、酔っ払いの叫び声が聞こえたものです。ここ数年の間に改善され、安心して呑めるエリアになりました。

また、カラオケ室も完備し、プライベートルームとして重宝されてます。予約も2、3日前で大丈夫です。安心して楽しめます、宜しくお願いします。
