はじめに・ご挨拶 | Introduction

初めまして。守本悠一郎と申します。
この度、自主プロジェクトの「電気を使わない照明 -NISSHOKU-」を制作するため、
プロジェクトを開始させて頂きました。よろしくお願いします。

Nice to meet you. My name is Yuichiro Morimoto.
I have started this project to produce an independent project "Lighting without electricity -NISSHOKU-",
I would like to start this project. Thank you for your cooperation.

■このプロジェクトで実現したいこと / What we hope to achieve with this project

今回のプロジェクトで、

・現在プロトタイプ段階の「NISSHOKU」を商品として完成させ、
・10月に都内で開催されるイベントに出展したい

と考えています。

With this project, I hope to achieve the following two goals
Complete "Nisshoku", which is currently in the prototype stage, as a product.
I would like to exhibit the product at an event to be held in Tokyo in October.

■NISSHOKUについて / About NISSHOKU

照明は、これまで電力と切っても切り離せないものでした。
その常識に、一石投じてみたいと思って作ったのが“NISSHOKU”です。

実際に目の前にすると、電池も電源コードも付いていませんが、誰もが「光っている」と感じると思います。
この光は、周囲の光を集めることで実現しています。

実現に際し、様々な実験を行ってきました。

Until now, lighting has been inseparable from electricity. 
Nisshoku was created with the intention of throwing a wrench into this conventional wisdom. 
When you actually see it in front of you, you will feel that it is "glowing," even though it has no batteries or power cord. 

その結果たどり着いたのが、今回のようなカタチでした。
偶然できたそのカタチが「日食」のように見えたため、そのままタイトルとしました。

The most effective way to achieve this light was to use a "circle" shape. 
The shape that was created by chance looked like a "nisshoku" (= eclipse), so I decided to use that as the title of this project.

■最後に / Message

「デザイン」の概念の広がりを日々感じています。
皆さんは、「デザイン」と聞いてどんなものを思い浮かべるでしょうか？
様々なアプローチがある中で、僕は「子どもからおばあちゃん、地球の裏側の人まで、直感的に面白がってもらえること」を、ひとつの理想に据えています。
自分がこの世界に進んだのも、デザインのそういった部分に惹かれたからでした。
NISSHOKUも、たくさんの人に楽しんでもらえたら嬉しいです。

Every day I feel the concept of "design" expanding.
What do you think of when you hear the word "design"?
There are many different approaches, but one of my ideals is "to be intuitively interesting to everyone, from children to grandmothers to people on the other side of the world.
I hope that many people will enjoy Nisshoku as well.

本プロジェクトはAll-in方式で実施します。目標金額に満たない場合も、計画を実行し、支援者には全員にリターンをお届けします。

This project will be implemented on an all-in basis. Even if the target amount is not reached, the plan will be carried out and all supporters will receive a return.
