AIミュージカル「AI-WRI-EN」の稽古がスタートしました！
この作品に登場するのは脚本家の詩月（しづき）と会社員の暁葵（あき）という、共同生活を送る二人。いずれの役も男女の指定が無い役なのですが、今回は詩月役を中村翼さん、暁葵役を津久井舞さんに演じていただきます。
詩月は執筆の仕事こそ絶えないものの、仕事に追われて自分の書きたい物語を書けずにいます。暁葵もまた形にしたい構想がありますが、自分の筆力に自信が無く、実現できずにいます。暁葵は自分の執筆の手伝いを詩月に依頼しますが、詩月は多忙故になかなか時間を取ることができません。そんな中でAIアシスタント「AI-WRI-EN（エイリアン）」のアップデートにより、人工知能のチカラによって構想を言語化する支援を受けることができるようになりました。
暁葵は長年温めていた構想を、AI-WRI-ENとともに形にしていきます。その様子が、素晴らしい音楽によって鮮やかに描かれていくのが、この作品の見所の一つです。
初脚本として執筆した私、山﨑聡一郎にとっても、稽古の中で作品が立体化していく過程は感動的なものです。その感動を想像しながら、あるいはAIの学習内容に基づいて脚本が執筆されていますが、まさに暁葵が目の当たりにする感動を追体験しながら、稽古が進んでいます。
この作品が形になる上ではAIの支援が欠かせませんでしたが、最終的に形になる上では人間の力もまた欠かせないものです。その相乗効果を、ぜひ目撃しにお越しいただければと思います。
Rehearsals for the AI musical "AI-WRI-EN" have kicked off!
In this production, we have two main characters: Shizuki, a scriptwriter, and Aki, a corporate employee, who share their lives together. Interestingly, both roles are gender-neutral, but this time, we are thrilled to have Tsubasa Nakamura playing the role of Shizuki and Mai Tsukui as Aki.
Shizuki is constantly swamped with writing assignments, leaving her unable to craft the stories she truly wants to tell. Aki, on the other hand, has creative ideas but lacks confidence in their writing abilities, preventing them from bringing their visions to life. Aki seeks Shizuki's help in writing, but due to Shizuki's busy schedule, finding the time becomes a challenge. However, thanks to an AI assistant update called "AI-WRI-EN" (pronounced as "Alien"), they can now harness the power of artificial intelligence to verbalize their creative concepts.
Aki, along with AI-WRI-EN, begins to shape the ideas they've nurtured for years into reality. The process is beautifully depicted through magnificent music, making it one of the highlights of this production.
As a first-time scriptwriter, this journey of bringing the story to life during rehearsals is truly inspiring for me, Soichiro Yamasaki. While the script was crafted with the aid of AI's knowledge and imagination, it's akin to reliving the awe-inspiring moments that Aki experiences firsthand during rehearsals.
While AI support was essential in shaping this production, it's equally vital to acknowledge the power of human collaboration to bring it to its final form. We hope you can witness the synergy between AI and human creativity as the performance unfolds.
