自己紹介

愛知県出身で安曇野市在住の高野紀子と申します。

私は、長年、英語講師（新潟県公立高校教員や塾講師など）をしてきました。英検1級所持。今は、自営で、対面やオンラインで英語を教えています。

登山が趣味(25年)で、アルプスの山々を見ながら暮らすのが夢でした。そして、２年前に、北アルプスの景色が美しい、この安曇野市に移住しました！

My name is Noriko Takano, originally from Aichi Prefecture and currently living in Azumino City. I have been an English teacher for many years.I hold a qualification of Eiken Grade 1. 

 I have been passionate about mountain climbing for 25 years, and it was always my dream to live surrounded by the Japanese Northern Alps mountains. 

Two years ago, I fulfilled that dream by moving to Azumino City, where the Northern Alps views are breathtakingly beautiful!

このプロジェクトで実現したいこと

私には叶えたい夢があります！ 

開放感のある（北アルプスが見える）古民家に住んで、自然農を実践しながら暮らすことです。

そして、一部屋をオープンにして、国際交流の場所を作りたい。堅苦しい環境ではなく、自由な雰囲気の居場所を作りたいです。

I have a dream I want to realize! 

My dream is to live in a traditional Japanese house with a sense of openness (hopefully with a view of the Northern Alps), practicing natural agriculture while living there. 

I want to open up one room to create a place for international exchange. 

I want to create a place with a relaxed atmosphere rather than a formal environment, where people can connect.

さらに、日本が好きな外国人に家に滞在してもらい、自然な形で、地域の大人や子供たちとの国際交流の場を作ります。

様々な文化を持つ人たちと交流すると視野が広がります。これは、お金では買えない本当に貴重な体験になります！

Furthermore, I aim to have Japan-loving foreigners stay at the house for a short period of time. 

I will create a space for international exchange between foreigners and local adults and children in a relaxed way. 

Interacting with people from various cultures expands your horizons. This becomes a truly invaluable  experience for you!

具体的には、イベントを通じて、地域の人と外国人が気楽に交流できるような場を作りたい。例えば、日本文化体験、音楽ライブ、農作業、英会話、季節行事のイベントなど！

そのような活動を通じて、みんなが、日本語や英語、その他の言語で会話を楽しんでもらいたいです。

Specifically, I want to create a space where local residents and foreigners can easily interact through events. 

For example, cultural experiences of Japan, music live performances, agricultural work, English conversation sessions, seasonal events, and more! 

Through such activities, I hope everyone can enjoy conversations in Japanese, English, and other languages.

プロジェクト立ち上げの背景

英語講師をしていてずっと切なく感じていました。日本には、自然な形で英会話や国際交流を楽しめる場が少ない・・と。そして、残念ながら、様々な理由から、英語を話せる日本人は多くありません。

2022年に100名山を達成以降、海外旅に興味が向き、ここ数年の間にいくつかの国をバックパッカー・スタイルで旅をしました。その後、積極的に外国人の友だちを作りました。

日本が大好きで、日本に住む外国人の方々がたくさんいる。その人たちが、「私たちが想像できないような苦労」をしていることを知りました。

英語講師としては、英会話や国際交流を楽しめる場を作ることで、より多くの日本人に「英語を話せるようになりたい！」と思ってほしい。そして、私たち自身が、より多様な価値観に触れることで、視野を広げることができたらうれしい。その結果、外国人の方々が、さらに日本という国で心地よく楽しく滞在できることを願っています。

As an English teacher, I have long felt a sense of sadness. In Japan, as far as I know, there are few natural opportunities to enjoy English conversation or international exchange. Unfortunately, for various reasons, many Japanese people don't speak English well.

Since achieving the goal of climbing all the most famous 100 mountains in Japan in 2022, my interest has turned to overseas travel, and in recent years, I have traveled to several countries backpacker-style. 

Then, I actively started making friends with foreigners. There are many people who love Japan and live here. I learned that they face a lot of challenges "beyond what we can imagine." As a result, I strongly felt the desire to support these people!

As an English teacher, I want to create opportunities for Japanese people to enjoy English conversation and international exchange, and to inspire more people to become more comfortable with speaking English. Additionally, I hope that by exposing ourselves to a wider range of values, we can broaden our perspectives. Ultimately, I hope foreign visitors feel even more comfortable and fun staying and living in Japan.

数ヶ月前に、気軽な気持ちでFacebookの外国人グループに自分の夢を投稿。すると、想像を超えるほどの反響やコメントがあり、あらゆる国から100通近い応援のダイレクトメールをいただきました！

(コメントが多すぎて、管理者によりコメント入力が停止されたほどです)

それほどに、似たような夢を持つ、日本文化が大好きな外国人がたくさんいることを知り感激しました。

不安はありましたが、この熱い応援に大きな勇気をもらい、夢の実現に1歩踏み出すことに決めました。

A few months ago, I casually posted my dream in a Facebook group for foreigners (mostly).

To my surprise, I received an overwhelming response and comments beyond my imagination, including nearly 100 direct messages of support from all over the world!

(There were so many comments keep coming in that the administrators had to stop further comments.)

I was deeply moved to learn that there are so many foreigners who love Japanese culture and share similar dreams. 

Although I was feeling anxious, the overwhelming support gave me great courage, and I decided to take the first step towards realizing my dream.

現在の準備状況

昨年夏から、安曇野市が行う「空き家マッチングプロジェクト」に登録をして空き家を探していますが成果がでていません。 理想としては、使われていない空き家を貸していただき、住んでいる間にDIYや片付けをすることで、空き家をよみがえらせたい！

 私の考えや夢に共感してくださる方で空き家をご存知の方、ぜひ小さなことでも情報をください。空き家の場所は、大町市あたり、または安曇野近郊が希望です。

Since last summer, I've been registered with the Azumino City "Vacant House Matching Project" in search of a vacant house, but I haven't had any success. Ideally, I'd like to borrow an unused vacant house and revitalize it by doing DIY and decluttering while living there!

 If there's anyone who resonates with my thoughts and dreams, and knows of any vacant houses, please share any information, no matter how small. The preferred location for the vacant house is around Omachi City or near Azumino .

７月      物件探しスタート

7月末 資金入金

適切な空き家物件が見つかった後、契約手続き。

契約完了後、片付けやリフォームをスタート。

Schedule:

June 30th: End of crowdfunding campaign.

July: start property search.

End of July: Funds deposited.

Once suitable vacant property is found, proceed with contract formalities.

After contract completion, begin cleanup and renovation.
