SeaGate Development Support ProjectIn September 2024, we aim to raise funds through crowdfunding for the equipment costs necessary to open the container-based burger terrace "SeaGate" in Azuki, Yanai City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.Project GoalsWe plan to open "SeaGate," a burger terrace using a container house, located in Azuki, Yanai City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Our goal is to create a place loved by both locals and visitors from afar. We want people to enjoy handmade burgers, drinks, and sweets while appreciating the beautiful nature of Azuki, away from the hustle and bustle. We also plan to host various events, including motorcycle dealer test rides, exhibitions, and other attractions that will draw people from far and wide.Background of the ProjectIn recent years, Yanai City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, has seen the development of new attractions such as glamping resorts and saunas, making it a promising new tourist spot. However, there are still few facilities that fully showcase the local charm or offer casual dining options. We want to take this opportunity to create and promote new attractions in Azuki, providing a place that many people can enjoy.Current Activities and PreparationsWe have spent about a year preparing for this project, starting with the concept for "SeaGate," selecting a location, and creating design plans. We are currently working with experts on the design and interior details of the container house. Recognized for my accomplishments and logistics expertise, I even became the sole representative of Japan for a major global company, surpassing listed companies.However, when I learned that my father, living in Azuki, was battling advanced cancer, I returned home. During this time, I visited the Azuki sea for the first time in 26 years. The sea, which was much more beautiful than the bustling beaches of Enoshima in Kanto, was once just a part of the scenery I had taken for granted as a child.Azuki Sea (April 2024)The same year my father passed away, I established another company in Hiroshima City that operates a similar business. Privately, I obtained a large motorcycle license and frequently went on tours with new friends to distract myself. I wanted to share the beauty of Azuki’s sea with them, but such a place did not exist at that time.After experiencing life in Hiroshima, Tokyo, and gaining knowledge through my import business, I came to understand Japan from a global perspective. I then envisioned creating a "gathering place" where locals and friends could come together, overlooking the sea of my hometown.Utilizing the expertise I have gained through nationwide business expansion, we will use containers, familiar to us, to realize this "gathering place" called "SeaGate."
