ご挨拶・自己紹介

こんにちは、ご覧いただきありがとうございます！
私たちは現在イギリス・ロンドン大学東洋アフリカ学院(SOAS)、イタリア・ボローニャ大学に早稲田大学から交換留学中の大学2年生です。

SAKURA・ANNA

日本文化の一つである「書道」の魅力を広め、世界の人々にも私たちの思いを伝えるべく、ヨーロッパ(イギリス、デンマーク)にて書道パフォーマンス＆書道ワークショップを行います！

私たちのこれまでの活動・背景

私たちは早稲田大学書道パフォーマンスサークル漣に所属しています。ステージに合わせてテーマを決め、構成・文字・振付け等を自分たちで考え、見てくださる方に良い影響を与えたい、そんな思いを軸に仲間たちと活動してきました。

共に留学で一定期間チームを離れることになっても、今度は世界の人々に良い影響を与えたい！という思いが強く芽生え、ヨーロッパでのパフォーマンスに挑戦することを決めました。 

実際に、先日行われたロンドンでのイベントにてパフォーマンスを見てくださった観客の皆様にありがたいお言葉と喜びの声をいただき、改めて日本文化の持つ影響力にはっとさせられました。

クラウドファンディング実施の理由

挑戦を決めたのは良いものの、ヨーロッパでのパフォーマンスの準備は日本で行うのとは全く異なり制約も多く想像以上でした。資金なしの状態から、今後のパフォーマンスを作り上げるための手段としてクラウドファンディングを利用します。

プロジェクト内容

①パフォーマンスステージ

-London Anime & Gaming Con 

イギリス最大級のアニメ、ゲームイベントです。今年は2月21.22.23日に開催されました。日本のアニメ、コスプレ、ゲーム等を通じて日英の国際交流が行われる大規模なイベントです。

-Copenhagen Sakura Festival
デンマークのコペンハーゲンにて開催される日本文化を紹介するイベントです。日本とコペンハーゲンとの文化交流の一環として、2008年から開催されています。今年度は4/26(土)-27(日)にかけて行われます！

このプロジェクトで実現したいこと

①ヨーロッパの人々に日本文化を伝えたい！

日本から離れ、言語も文化も異なる場所での生活を通してさらに感じる「日本の魅力」。何気ない暮らしの中で、ヨーロッパの人々には日本についてまだまだ知られていないことが多くある、と実感してきました。

そこで、日本国内でもまだまだ珍しい書道パフォーマンスを日本文化の新たな一面としてヨーロッパの皆様にもお届けしたい！と思っております。

②私たちの最強パフォーマンスでエネルギーを届ける！

『誰しも完璧じゃないけれど、自分を奮い立たせて強く生きている』

私たちのパフォーマンスの根底には、留学を通して学んだこの考え方があります。環境が変わり、今まで見えなかった自分の弱さ・情けなさ・至らぬ部分が見えて落胆することもありましたが、その度に周りの人々に助けられ、前を向けてきました。
困難な状況も、そばにいてくれる仲間と足りない部分を補い合いながら乗り越えてきた、そんな経験が皆様にもあることと思います。自分なりに頑張り続ける一人一人の輝かしい姿を、応援し称えるパフォーマンスをお届けします！明るい音楽に合わせて、見てくださる方を楽しませ、元気づけるステージにします！！

7000円　再現作品
London Anime & Gaming Conの再現作品をお送りします。A4サイズの厚紙で再現します。(Size 21cm×29.7cm)

500円~　応援枠
心を込めて、お礼のメールをお送りします。こちらのオプションでは、リターンがメールであるため、支援金額を実質的にそのまま活動費に充てることができます。【応援はしたいけれどリターンは特に必要ない】という方向けです。合計金額横に表示される「上乗せ支援」より金額の変更ができます。

支援金の使い道 

集まった支援金は以下に使用する予定です
備品費(用紙、板、墨、色紙など) 55000円    
活動費(練習、材料運搬費、当日にかかる移動費) 40000円    
その他交通費　30000円
手数料(17％＋税) 25000円
支援額が超過した場合には活動費に充てさせていただきます。

ABOUT US

We are currently second-year university students on exchange from Waseda University in Japan, studying at the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS)/UK and the University of Bologna/Italy.

SAKURA・ANNA

We are performing calligraphy, one of the Japanese traditional arts, to spread its charm and share our passion with people in Europe. We will be doing calligraphy performances and workshops!

▼Our Backgrounds
We belong to the Calligraphy Performance team, "Sazanami," at Waseda University in Japan.
Even though we will be temporarily separated from the group, we strongly felt we still want to inspire and move those who watch our performance. This desire led us to take on the challenge of performing in Europe.

Indeed, at the event recently held in London, we received many heartfelt words from the audience, and it made us realize the powerful influence of Japanese culture.

〇Why Crowdfunding?
Although we decided to take on this challenge, we quickly realized that performing in Europe is very different from performing in Japan, with many constraints we hadn’t anticipated. We decided to use this opportunity to gather the necessary resources to do our performance.

1. Calligraphy Performance Stages

This is one of the largest anime and gaming events in the UK, where anime fans from all over Europe gather. It was held on February 21, 22, and 23 this year.

This event in Copenhagen, Denmark, introduces Japanese culture and has been held since 2008 as part of a cultural exchange between Japan and Denmark.

2. Workshops:

We will also host calligraphy workshops, where people will be able to experience Japanese Calligraphy with us!!

Our Aim Through This Project

1. Share Japanese culture with people in Europe
Living abroad, we've realized that there are still many aspects of Japanese culture that remain unknown to people around the world. Our goal is to introduce calligraphy performances as a new way to experience Japanese culture. Using widely recognized themes like anime, we hope to connect people with Japanese culture and offer them a chance to learn more about it.

2. Delivering energy!
'Nobody is perfect, which is why we all strive to live strongly, constantly encouraging ourselves to keep going.'

This mindset, shaped by our study abroad experiences, is at the core of our performances. Our goal is to uplift and energize the audience, creating an exciting stage filled with bright music and fun!"

• 500 yen(3EUR): thank-you email

• 1,000 yen(6EUR): Handwritten thank-you postcard 

• 3,000 yen(18EUR): Handwritten thank-you letter + UK & Italy postcard set 

• 5,000 yen(30EUR): Your name + 1 character calligraphy on a fancy paper
  We will write your name and 1 Japanese character of your choice in calligraphy. If you don’t have a specific request, we’ll choose a character based on your image. (Size 24.2cm×27.2cm)

• 7,000 yen(42EUR): Reproduction artwork
  We’ll send you a set of A4-size reproductions of our performance artwork from the London Anime & Gaming Con. (Size 21cm×29.7cm)

• 500yen~(3EUR~): cheer up option
  The return would be simply thank you messages, allowing all funds to go directly toward activity costs. This is for those who wish to support but do not require a return gift. You can adjust the amount via the "Additional Support(上乗せ支援)" option displayed next to the total amount.
