私たちは、ガールズヘヴィメタルバンド「BRIDEAR（ブライディア）」です。 2012年に福岡で結成し、ツインギターを軸としたヘヴィメタルサウンドを武器に、日本全国、そして世界へ向けて活動してきました。

これまでにヨーロッパを中心とした海外ツアーを複数回行い、国内では「SUMMER SONIC」や「LOUD PARK」といった大型フェスにも出演。世界的に活躍するアーティストとの共演も果たしてきました。

私たちが追求しているのは、王道のヘヴィメタルを大切にしながら、プログレッシブな楽曲や圧倒的なスピードチューンなど、さまざまな要素を取り入れた「世界基準」のヘヴィメタル。
2022年には4th Full Album『AEGIS OF ATHENA』をリリースし、イギリスのメタル誌「METAL HAMMER」の2022年POWER METAL ALBUMランキングで全世界5位を獲得。
2024年にはスウェーデン・ヨーテボリで、世界的プロデューサー、フレドリック・ノルドストローム氏のプロデュースによるアルバム『Born Again』のレコーディングを行いました。

結成から現在まで、私たちは日本のガールズヘヴィメタルバンドという枠にとどまらず、自分たちの音楽を世界中の人々へ届けることを目指して、歩みを続けてきました。

それは、10年以上活動し続けてきた私たちが大切にしてきた夢であり、これまで一歩ずつ積み重ねてきた挑戦でもあります。

About us

We are “BRIDEAR,” an all-female heavy metal band.

Formed in Fukuoka in 2012, our band has been performing throughout Japan and around the world, leveraging their heavy metal sound centered on twin guitars.

We have gone on several overseas tours, mainly in Europe, and have also performed at major domestic festivals such as “SUMMER SONIC” and “LOUD PARK.”

We have also performed alongside internationally renowned artists.

What we’re striving for is “world-class” heavy metal that incorporates a variety of elements—such as progressive compositions and blisteringly fast tracks—while remaining true to the essence of classic heavy metal.

In 2022, we released our fourth full-length album, *AEGIS OF ATHENA*, which ranked fifth worldwide on the 2022 Power Metal Album chart published by the British metal magazine *METAL HAMMER*.

In 2024, we recorded the album *Born Again* in Gothenburg, Sweden, produced by world-renowned producer Fredrik Nordström.

From the time the band was formed to the present, we have continued on our journey, aiming to share our music with people all over the world, without limiting ourselves to the category of a Japanese all-female heavy metal band.

It is a dream that we have cherished throughout our more than ten years of activity, and it is also a challenge we have built upon, one step at a time.

2024年、私たちは海外レーベルとの契約を果たし、アルバムの制作や海外でのライブ活動など、世界に向けて挑戦を続けてきました。
国境を越えて私たちの音楽が届いていく手応えを感じ、大きな希望に胸を膨らませていた時期でもありました。

しかし現在、契約に関わる予期せぬ状況の変化により、大切に作ってきた一部作品の配信停止や、海外活動の制限という事態に直面しています。

「自分たちの音楽を、いつでも届く場所で聴いてもらいたい」 

「待ってくれている世界中のファンに会いに行きたい」

その一心で関係各所と何度も話し合いを重ね、なんとか希望の光を見出そうと約1年半の間、慎重に対応を続けてまいりました。
けれど、どれほど手を尽くしても、私たちが心から望んでいた形での解決を迎えることはできませんでした。

ですが、私たちはいつまでも立ち止まっているわけにはいきません。
この現実をまっすぐに受け止め、自分たちの足で、自分たちの力で一歩ずつ前へ進んでいくことを決めました。

失われた時間や機会を取り戻すのは簡単なことではないかもしれません。
けれど、どんな状況になっても、私たちの音を待ってくれている皆さんの存在が、再び歩き出すための最大の原動力になっています。

「もう一度、自分たちの手で最高の音源を作り、正しい形で皆さんのもとへ届けたい」

その環境を自分たちの手でゼロから作り直し、未来へ繋ぐために、このプロジェクトを立ち上げました。
どうか私たちの新たな決意とこれからの挑戦に、力を貸していただけたら幸いです。

Background of the Project Launch

In 2024, we fulfilled our contract with an overseas label and continued to take on new challenges on the global stage, including producing albums and performing live overseas.

It was also a time when we could feel our music reaching audiences across borders, and our hearts swelled with great hope.

However, due to unexpected changes in our contractual circumstances, we are currently facing a situation where the distribution of some of the works we have carefully created has been suspended and our overseas activities have been restricted.

“We want people to be able to listen to our music wherever they are, whenever they want.” 

“We want to go meet the fans all over the world who are waiting for us.”

Driven by that single-minded determination, we held numerous discussions with the relevant parties and continued to proceed with caution for about one and a half years, striving to find a glimmer of hope.

However, no matter how hard we tried, we were unable to reach a resolution in the way we had truly hoped for.

However, we can’t just stand still forever.

So, we decided to face this reality head-on and move forward step by step, on our own two feet and under our own power.

It may not be easy to make up for lost time or missed opportunities.

However, no matter what the circumstances, the fact that there are people out there waiting to hear our music is our greatest source of motivation to keep moving forward.

“We want to create the best possible recording with our own hands once again and deliver it to you in the right way.”

We launched this project to rebuild that environment from scratch with our own hands and pass it on to future generations.

What We Hope to Achieve with This Project

These funds will be used to build a “new foundation” that will allow us to stand on our own two feet, so that our music will never be taken away from us again.

どれほど状況が変わろうとも、どれほど壁にぶつかろうとも、私たちの胸にあるこの強い衝動と想いだけは、何一つ変わることはありませんでした。

どうにか自分たちの力だけで現状を切り開けないかと、メンバー・スタッフ一丸となって今日まで悪戦苦闘し、模索を続けてきました。けれど、私たちが描く「最高の形」で未来へ一歩を踏み出すためには、どうしても私たちだけの力では足りません。

だからこそ、勝手なお願いかもしれませんが、どうか皆さんの力を貸していただけないでしょうか。

Right now, we at BRIDEAR are in the midst of building a “new environment” from the ground up with our own hands—one that will allow us to release new music and take our live performances back to the world.

The road to get here has by no means been an easy one. There were many moments filled with frustration at not being able to do what we wanted, anxiety about an uncertain future, and pain so intense we couldn’t put it into words—moments when we felt like we were about to be crushed.

Even so, the reason we were able to keep moving forward without stopping was none other than the support of all of you.

“We absolutely want to share our new music with everyone who’s been waiting for it.” “We want to deliver the precious works we’ve poured our hearts into—once again—to everyone in the right format so that everyone can listen to them.” “We want to stand on that electrifying stage once more and connect with everyone—including our international fans—directly through our music.”

No matter how much the situation changed, no matter how many obstacles we faced, the one thing that never changed was this strong impulse and passion we held in our hearts.

Wondering if there was any way we could break through our current situation on our own, our members and staff have worked together as one, struggling hard and searching for solutions all the way to today. However, in order to take a step toward the future in the “best possible way” that we envision, our efforts alone simply aren’t enough.

That is precisely why—and we realize this may be a bit of a favor to ask—we hope you will lend us your support.
