●　はじめに　About Me

こんにちは！Ayun（アユン）です。 
台湾・台北出身で、2015年から東京に暮らしています。

日本に来た当初、音楽は自分の人生に描いていた道ではありませんでした。語学学校に通っていたある日、偶然立ち寄った音楽専門学校。

当時25歳。周りからは「安定した仕事をしっかり続ければいい」と言われることもありました。それでも、「今動かなければ、この気持ちに一生向き合えない」と思って、自分にチャンスを与えることにしました。

音楽専門学校へ入学してから、私の人生は「音楽」と「それ以外」のふたつに分かれました。2020年卒業後は会社員として働きながら、平日は仕事、夜や休日は音楽に向き合う日々を続けています。まるでボタンを押すように、現実の自分と夢を追う自分を「SWITCH」しながら。

会社員だって、ロックに生きられる。

毎月の給料を少しずつ貯めて、スタジオ代や音楽制作費、ライブ活動に充てて、また働く。
華やかではないけれど、それが私なりの「続ける」という形でした。

ずっと、自分の声でそっと自分の世界を届けることを続けてきました。でも今年は、もっと多くの人とつながるために、新しい一歩を踏み出したいと思っています。

Hi, I'm Ayun! 
I'm originally from Taipei, Taiwan, and have been living in Tokyo since 2015.

When I first came to Japan, music was never part of the path I had imagined for myself. Then one day, while attending Japanese language school, I happened to wander into an open campus event at a music school.

I was 25. People around me would often say, "Just find a stable job and stick with it". But I kept thinking — if I don't move now, I'll never face this feeling for the rest of my life. So I decided to give myself a chance.

From the moment I enrolled in music school, my life split into two: music, and everything else. After graduating in 2020, I've been working as a company employee while dedicating my evenings and weekends to music — switching between my everyday self and the self that chases a dream, like pressing a button. SWITCH.

Even as a salaryman, you can live like a rockstar. Every month, I set aside a little from my paycheck for studio time, music production, and live performances — then go back to work and do it all over again. It's not glamorous, but this is my way of keeping going.

I've always quietly delivered my world through my own voice. This year, I'm ready to take a new step — to connect with more people than ever before.

●　この企画について　About This Project

今年9月5日、六本木BAUHAUSにてワンマンライブを開催します。
でも、これは単なるコンサートではないと思っています。

ウクライナとロシアの戦争をきっかけに書いた楽曲〈Silver Lining〉のように、音楽には、言葉・文化が違っても人の心をつなぐ力があると信じています。

一夜限りのライブ・演者と観客という関係ではなく、同じ時間を、一緒に作り上げる夜にしたいと思っています。

On September 5th, I'll be holding my solo concert at BAUHAUS in Roppongi.

But I believe this is more than just a concert.
Just like my song 〈Silver Lining〉— written in response to the war between Ukraine and Russia — I believe music has the power to connect hearts across languages and cultures. I don't want this to be a one-night performance with a stage and an audience. I want it to be a night we create together.

▪️　私の楽曲〈Silver Lining〉について　About My Song　
ウクライナとロシアの戦争をきっかけに生まれた一曲です。
遠く離れた場所で起きていることでも、音楽はその痛みをそっと手元まで運んでくれる、そう信じて書いた曲です。
This song was born out of the war between Ukraine and Russia. I wrote it believing that music can quietly carry the pain of something happening far away and bring it right into your hands.

●　なぜ、今なのか　Why Now

今年は、来日からちょうど10年。あの帰り道からも、もう10年が経ちます。  
今回のライブテーマ「SWITCH」には、そんな10年の先にある、次の自分への切り替えという意味を込めています。ずっと一緒にいてくれた人たちと、この節目を音楽で刻みたい。それが、今年でなければならない理由です。

「チャンスは、準備ができたときではなく、決断したときに来る」。
そう信じて、この一歩を踏み出すことにしました。だからこそ、この夜だけは、妥協したくない。

より良い音で届けること。その夜を映像として残すこと。
そして次の作品へとつなげていくこと。でも、それをすべて実現しようとすると、チケット収入だけでは難しいのが現実です。

This year marks exactly 10 years since I came to Japan and 10 years since that day I wandered into that open campus. The theme of this concert, "SWITCH", carries the meaning of stepping into the next version of myself, the one waiting on the other side of these 10 years. I want to mark this milestone through music, together with the people who have been with me all along. That's why it had to be this year.

"Opportunities come not when you're ready, but when you decide". I believe that, and so I'm taking this step. Because of that, I refuse to compromise on this night.

Delivering the best possible sound. Preserving the night on film. Carrying it forward into the next body of work. But to make all of that happen without cutting corners, ticket sales alone won't be enough.
