私たちは、東春初級学校80周年事業実行委員会です。

東春朝鮮初級学校は、今年で創立80周年を迎えます。

幼稚園と初級部を合わせて、在校生はわずか34名。

一人ひとりに先生の目が届く、家族のように温かい学校です。子どもたちは毎日、仲良く、楽しく通っています。

東春朝鮮初級学校について

東春朝鮮初級学校は、愛知朝鮮第五・第六初級学校が合併してできた学校です。

現在は第七・第八の学区を管轄し、さらに第二初級学校の一部区域も受け持つ、広い学区を持つ学校です。子どもたちは、広い地域からこの学校へ通ってきています。

この校舎を守ることは、ひとつの建物を直すことにとどまりません。広い地域に暮らす子どもたちの「学びの場」そのものを守ることなのです。

このプロジェクトで実現したいこと

その小さな学校の校舎が今、改修を必要としています。

なかでも消防設備は、先日の点検で「このままでは法令に適合しない」と指摘を受けました。改修しなければ、子どもたちが安心して過ごせる環境を保てません。

私たちは、この大切な学び舎を次の10年、20年へつないでいくために、クラウドファンディングに挑戦します。どうか、あたたかいご支援をお願いいたします。

なぜ今、改修が必要なのか

校舎は老朽化が進み、改修が必要な時期を迎えています。今回予定している主な工事は次の3つです。

消防設備の修理(最優先・緊急)

本校舎の防水工事

教室内の塗装

いちばん急いでいるのは、消防設備です。

先日の消防点検で、設備の不備を指摘されました。このまま放置すれば法令に適合せず、学校として安全な運営を続けられなくなります。 子どもたちの命にかかわる、待ったなしの工事です。

修理にかかる費用は、概算で約420万円を見込んでいます。

校舎を10年先まで守る、防水工事

本校舎の防水工事は10年ぶりとなります。雨漏りなどから校舎を守り、これから10年、20年と使い続けるために欠かせない工事です。

当初は約600万円を見込んでいましたが、原材料価格の高騰により、現在は600万円を超える見込みとなっています。

朝鮮学校を取り巻く状況

朝鮮学校は、私立学校と同じように十分な公的支援を受けられる環境にはなく、学校運営は決して楽ではありません。

それでも東春朝鮮初級学校が80年の歴史を重ねてこられたのは、同胞の皆さま、地域の皆さま、そして海を越えて学校を思い続けてくださった皆さまの、愛情と支えがあったからです。

今回の挑戦も、単なる資金集めではありません。この学校を未来へつなぐ力を、もう一度みんなで結集する取り組みだと考えています。

ご支援の使い道と目標金額

第1目標：450万円

まずは、最も緊急性の高い消防設備の修理(約420万円)と、改修に伴う関連費用にあてさせていただきます。

ネクストゴール：累計600万円

第1目標を達成できた場合は、累計600万円を次の目標とします。ここまで届けば、本校舎の防水工事に着手します。

総工費との差額については、80周年記念事業実行委員会が責任をもって工面します。 とりわけ防水工事は資材費の高騰で当初見込みより負担が増していますが、いただいたご支援を確実に工事へつなげることを、私たちがお約束します。

ご支援は、全額を校舎の改修工事にあてさせていただきます。

リターンの準備・発送にかかる費用は、実行委員会が別途負担します。

工事時期：夏休み期間を予定(子どもたちの学びを止めないため)

集まったご支援の使い道や工事の進捗は、責任をもって皆さまにご報告いたします。

なお本プロジェクトは、目標金額の達成・未達成にかかわらず、集まったご支援を受け取り、全額を工事にあてるAll-in方式で実施します。皆さまからお寄せいただく一つひとつのご支援が、確実に子どもたちの環境を守る力になります。

東春朝鮮初級学校は、80年にわたって、多くの人の愛と支えに守られてきました。

Introduction

We are the Executive Committee for the 80th Anniversary Project of Toshun Korean Elementary School.

This year, Toshun Korean Elementary School celebrates its 80th anniversary.

The school currently has only 34 students in total, including both the kindergarten and elementary divisions.

It is a warm, family-like school where teachers can give close attention to each and every child. Every day, the children come to school happily, enjoying their time together.

About Toshun Korean Elementary School

Toshun Korean Elementary School was established through the merger of Aichi Korean Fifth Elementary School and Aichi Korean Sixth Elementary School.

Today, the school serves the districts of the Seventh and Eighth Elementary Schools, as well as part of the district formerly served by the Second Elementary School. As a result, it covers a wide area, and children commute to the school from many different communities.

Protecting this school building is not simply about repairing one building. It means protecting the very place of learning for children living across this broad region.

What We Aim to Achieve Through This Project

This small school building is now in need of renovation.

In particular, during a recent inspection, it was pointed out that the fire safety equipment, in its current condition, does not comply with legal standards. Unless repairs are carried out, we will not be able to maintain a safe environment where children can spend their days with peace of mind.

In order to pass this precious place of learning on to the next 10 and 20 years, we are taking on the challenge of crowdfunding.

Why Renovation Is Needed Now

The school building has aged over time and has reached the point where repairs are necessary. The main construction work planned this time consists of the following three items:

• Repair of the fire safety equipmentMost urgent and highest priority

• Waterproofing work for the main school building

• Painting inside the classrooms

The most urgent issue is the fire safety equipment.

During the recent fire safety inspection, deficiencies in the equipment were pointed out. If we leave the situation as it is, the school will not meet legal standards, and it will become impossible to continue operating safely as a school.

This is construction work that cannot wait, because it directly concerns the lives and safety of our children.

The estimated cost of the repairs is approximately 4.2 million yen.

Waterproofing Work to Protect the School Building for the Next 10 Years

The waterproofing work for the main school building will be the first in 10 years.

This work is essential to protect the building from rain leaks and other damage, and to ensure that it can continue to be used for the next 10 and 20 years.

Initially, we estimated the cost to be around 6 million yen. However, due to rising material prices, the current estimate is expected to exceed 6 million yen.

The Situation Surrounding Korean Schools

Korean schools do not receive the same level of public support as many other private schools, and managing the school is by no means easy.

Even so, Toshun Korean Elementary School has been able to continue its 80-year history because of the love and support of fellow Koreans, local community members, and many people across the sea who have continued to care deeply about the school.

This challenge is not simply about raising funds.

We see it as an effort to bring everyone’s strength together once again in order to carry this school into the future.

How Your Support Will Be Used and Our Funding Goals

First Goal: 4.5 million yen

First, we will use the funds for the most urgent repair work: the fire safety equipment, which is estimated to cost approximately 4.2 million yen, as well as related expenses connected to the renovation.

Next Goal: 6 million yen in total

If we are able to reach our first goal, our next goal will be to raise a total of 6 million yen.

If we reach this amount, we will begin the waterproofing work for the main school building.

Any remaining difference between the total construction cost and the amount raised will be covered responsibly by the 80th Anniversary Project Executive Committee.

In particular, the burden of the waterproofing work has increased beyond our original estimate due to rising material costs. Even so, we promise that every contribution we receive will be used reliably and directly for the renovation work.

All funds raised through this project will be used entirely for the renovation of the school building.

The costs required for preparing and shipping return gifts will be covered separately by the Executive Committee.

After the construction is completed, we will report the progress and results of the work to all supporters through the return gifts.

Final Message

We will responsibly report to everyone how the funds raised are used and how the construction work progresses.

This project will be carried out using the All-in model. This means that regardless of whether or not we reach our target amount, we will receive the funds raised and use the full amount for the construction work.

Every single contribution from you will become a real source of strength in protecting the children’s learning environment.

For 80 years, Toshun Korean Elementary School has been protected by the love and support of many people.

Now it is our turn to pass this precious place of learning on to the next 10 and 20 years.
