オリジナルピンバッジ登場です！福井県鯖江市のめがね職人さんが眼鏡枠の材料でオリジナル品を作ってくださいました。A craftsman in Sabae, Fukui who usually makes glasses frames produced the Fukui Patrick’s Day original pin badges, they are very high quality and really impressive.

とても手が込んでいます。ロブさんの解説によると、めがね枠の材料であるセルロースアセテートを３色使いました。3色といってもすべてグリーン。色調が違うんですね。その３色を重ねて、まずは恐竜さんの形にくり抜きます。そして、クローバーを抜くのですが、これが面白い！３枚重ねた２枚目のライトグリーンが出るように、１枚目だけを抜くのだそうです。

As you can see, they are very fancy pins that were produced by a long complicated process. First, layered cellulose acetate composed of three different tones of green was cut out by a milling machine into the shape of the shape of the logo.  Then only the first layer was milled out in the shape of a shamrock so that the light green color was exposed. 

 

そして、ひとつひとつのピンバッジが丁寧に磨き上げられて完成したそうです。

Then each pin badge was carefully polished by the craftsman with his professional skill of making Sabae eye glasses frames.
