音楽レーベルTimeless代表のFarahです。

今回はブルックリン出身で地元NYを中心にヨーロッパの大型フェスなどにも出演している才能溢れる女性シンガーRachel Brotmanの本邦初となるCDアルバムとレコード(7inch single & 12inch EP)をリリースしたいと思いこのプロジェクトを立ち上げました。

This time I started this project to release CD album and Vinyl (7inch single & 12inch EP) which is world's first of talented female singer Rachel Brotman who is also active in NY and European big festival etc.

いかがでしたか？まだまだ世界には素晴らしい才能をもった無名のアーティストがいることを実感していただけたのではないかと思います。僕らは、この魅力的な彼女の音楽を小さい頃から親しみのあるCDやレコードなど ”モノ” として生活の近くに置いてもらいたい、この素晴らしい才能をより多くの方に聴いてもらいたい、触れてもらいたい、そんな思いからこのプロジェクトを立ち上げました。

 

 

Rachel Brotman (レイチェル・ブロットマン)

ニューヨーク・シティで生まれ育ち、ニューオーリンズで学び、ジャズや即興演奏へのルーツを持つ彼女は、過去にはNYブルーノートや、バルセロナのJamboree、ビルバオのSala BBKなどのスペインのクラブや、イタリア・ミラノのEXPOなどにも出演を果たした他、ニューオーリンズ・ジャズ & ヘリテージフェスティバルには、複数回出演している。BMIやNPRなどのメディアでも紹介された他、Giant StepやRevive Musicにもフィーチャーされた経験を持つ。

 

ただ最近では、普通に流通にのせてCDをリリースするだけでは、その拡散や訴求は以前に比べ非常に難しい状況となっています。

そこで、応援したい人 & 欲しい人がお金を払い、それに見合ったリターンを受けとることが出来るクラウドファンディングを使って、Rachel Brotmanの音楽をより楽しんでもらえるリターンを付け、音源を買うという行為自体をイベントとして楽しんでもらえたら、より魅了的なワクワクする体験になるのではないかと考えました。

リターンの種類も一般的なCDの特典よりバリエーションが豊かなので、皆さんの気持ちにあったリターンを選んで楽しみながらCDやレコードを購入していただけたらと思います。CDを除いて原則全てクラウドファンディング限定となります。

 

How did you like it? I think that you have already realized that there are unknown artists with wonderful talents in the world. We would like to have this fascinating her music close to life as "familiar" CD and record etc from around age, I would like to listen to this wonderful talent more people & touched. so I started this project.

 

Rachel Brotman

Born and raised in NYC, educated in New Orleans, drawing on roots in jazz and improvisation. Rachel Brotman has performed at internationally renown venues from the Blue Note in NYC to Jamboree in Barcelona, Sala BBK in Bilbao to EXPO in Milan and multiple years at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. She's been featured by BMI, NPR, Giant Step and Revive Music.

Recently, simply selling CDs by circulation, the spreading has become a very difficult situation than before.

We thought that it would be a fascinating and exciting experience if people who want to support encourage themselves as acts of buying sound sources themselves as an event.

The type of return is also richer than the general CD benefits. you can purchase CDs and vinyls while enjoying picking your favorite return. Except CDs, they are all limited to cloud funding.

Hello! I'm Rachel Brotman and I'm really excited to be releasing a catalogue of my work in Japan in the spring. This music was composed at a time when I was exploring a love for jazz and improvised music. My band at the time had been with me for years and years, it was really the peak of our work together and a really special time in my career. So, I'm excited to share this music with you and I hope you enjoy it and I'll see you soon!
