Good news: (published 2020/04/25 21:36)Follow-up observation period has started!Thank you for supporting Kuri-chan and spreading the words for us about this project.On 23 April, he has completed the 84-days treatment programme with MUTIAN.DAY 84: "FINAL" MUTIAN injectionIn patient waiting area:We were waiting for the result of his blood test & abdominal ultrasonography test. Maria was with us (for her regular check).The result of Kuri-chan's blood test was sent to the MUTIAN supplier. They confirmed that he can be off the MUTIAN injections and his follow-up observation period was started from 24 April.From the daily injection for the 83 days, Kuri-chan has many ulcers all over his back. There are also some burnt like scabs from the acidity of the medicine, some bald patches, itchy itchy itcheness that he cannot take off his Elizabethan collar, not just yet. But main thing is that we don't need to go to the vet everyday anymore!However, on the last day of treatment after coming home, we realised that we had forgotten to give him the antibiotic injection for his anti-suppuration, we had to go back to the vet in that evening...Sorry for the second visit, Kuri-chan! No wonder he was so moody about this...I am so proud of Kuri-chan that he has been so gentle and so partient all the way through those 84 days. In this period, he has never ever attacked, bitten nor scratched us back during the treatment desipite the MUTIAN injection being so painful.Of course, with the MUTIAN injections, he screamed badly, but with a regular antibiotic injection or a blood test, his reaction is almost none.To be honest, we wouldn't know how to manage those 84 days if he was a short-tempered cat.Kuri-chan is now off the MUTIAN injections, but we are still feeding him every 90 to 180 mins with the a/d canned food (the prescription diet food). Each serving is about one large spoonful (with more than one spoonful, he often starts to show the sign of purging while he rests, so we stick to the single serving).Kuri-chan demands his food 24 hours around the clock, and if I am in bed, he gets on me and does make me serve him... Though lately, he seems happy eating a few pebbles of dry food between my servings, and certainly, his appatite is coming back slowly as before.Some scheduled visits to the vet are:- in 2 weeks time, antibiotic injection,- in 1 month, 1st blood test,- in 3 months, 2nd blood test.Here is a picture of some return goods;Some of you have kindly declined your return goods and offered us to spend your contributions more towards Kuri-chan's medications. But if you change your mind, we are happy to send you the corresponding goods. ご支援の皆様、栗ちゃんに、お気持ちをありがとうございますm(_ _)m2倍量8週目になり、血液検査も治療プログラム最後の一回を行う一個前の回となりました。数値は、前回とかわらないぐらいと、かかりつけ医は、評価しています。①血液検査の様子②MUTIAN注射の様子③MUTIAN社の担当さんの指示で、遊ばして神経症状の確認動画の撮影をして送るように言われて遊ばせた様子。先週火曜日は、針を3回指し直し、先生も刺さる暴れっぷり。(>_<)水～土曜日はまあまあマシな叫びっぷり。日曜日は、オシッコをたれながら叫びました(T_T)もう、栗ちゃんのメンタルもボロボロです。栗ちゃんの背中も、注射箇所の潰瘍だらけ。かゆくて、かゆくて、たいへんです。栗ちゃんは、注射の前も、直後も、私達人間を噛む事は無く、撫でられます。甘えます。優しすぎます。帰宅後、ひきこもりモードで、お兄ちゃんの枕をベッド代わりに、じっと寝ていて、起きた時には、涙を流しています。(T_T)90分～180分おきに給餌していますが、大さじ1しか食べられず、お代わりすると、そのあとオエッとなります。私が寝ていても、ad缶を食べたい！と、上に乗って起こします。ドライフードもありますが、ドライフードを3～5粒食べても缶が食べたい時は、残りものの乾いたものではなく、缶からよそってと言います。私を枕に寝ている姿を見ていると、以前は、走ったり、食べたり、せいぜい、嘔吐反応が突然出て、オエッと飛び起きていましたが、今は、注射の夢で、小さくギャーと叫ぶ寝言を繰り返しや、注射中に暴れているような動きや、飛び起きたりします。(>_<)あと８回注射耐えきれるんだろうかと、飼い主の心が折れそうです。(T_T)記録は、火曜に撮影。↓水曜日、わたくしごとですが、秋にミルボラして育てた子が栗ちゃんの獣医さんが一緒なので、去勢手術に来ていて再会できました。ものすごく立派な美しい猫になっていました。栗ちゃんよりすでに手足の骨格が大きく、二歳ぐらいに成長が平坦かする頃には、栗ちゃんより大木な男の子になっていそうです。良い方にもらわれ、幸せな兄弟です。お庭に保護しに訪問したおうちの方にも、成長を喜んでいただけました。三頭の命が大切にしてもらえるご家庭に繋がった事、こうして再会の機会に恵まれた事は、栗ちゃんには浮気しちゃってますが、心身ともに私も限界突破中なので、大きな癒しとなりました。ほんと、栗ちゃんの90分おきのご飯は、ミルボラより短時間で、しかも間があいて行かなくて、ずーっと頻回なままなので、正直ミルボラの方が楽です。苦笑うちの車内に、路上で猫の交通事故後をみかけた時など猫用に積んでいる段ボールと手袋などの猫回収セットがありますが、それがいるような事に遭遇しないといいなと思う季節になってきました。どうか、飼い猫は完全室内飼いで、事故や病気にならないように、お願いします。今年は一件も出会いませんように。。。最後になりましたが、第一回のキャンプファイヤーにてリターンに絵を選んでいただいた方に、グッズより先に発送をさせていただきました。住所で気づいたご職業、ああ、徳の高い方なのだなーと、絵画がそのような素敵な方の元で鑑賞されるのはとっても嬉しいです。我が家の唯一の資産かもしれない、交流のある先生や、コレクション作品など、本当に良い方のもとにもらわれて、栗ちゃんの役に立って、ありがたいです。再挑戦キャンプファイヤーもあと2週間を切りました。日々ご支援者さまが、それぞれ拡散やチャンネル登録を呼びかけて下さっているのを見て、栗ちゃんと頑張らなきゃね、あともう少しだねって話ています。皆様のご支援、ご協力に感謝しています。最後までどうか、応援よろしくお願いいたします。

4月10日は私事ですが、お兄ちゃん19才の誕生日でした。何もしてやれませんでした。栗ちゃんが生き延びていることが、最高のプレゼントだと、言ってしまいそうでしたが、全く何も、、、。いつも通り、注射に連れて行き、、、な一日でした。買い出しの時に、シャトレーゼでチーズケーキを一つご所望で、甘い物苦手な私達はたった一つ買うはずが、なぜか回りの購入者の個数に負けて？チーズケーキを二種類買いました。(>_<)半分こで、なおかつ二日かけて、二人で一日一個消費しました。(^_^;)誕生日だから？とは関係なく、お兄ちゃんが体重増加を図る活動で買いましたが、よく考えたら、誕生日でした。(^_^;)↓大抵こうやって寝ています。さて、栗ちゃんのメンタルは、かなりボロボロです。私の足音が聞き分けられず、お兄ちゃんだと思って、隠れ、ママだ！と、飛び出す程に。(>_<)相変わらず、注射に行く前に、私に行きたくないよ、助けてと、身を寄せ、あっさりお兄ちゃんに連れて行かれ、攻撃して逃れる事がありません。激痛注射前後も、医師、看護師二名、お兄ちゃん、誰にも攻撃せず、頭を撫でられます。4/7は、残念ながら、過去一番に叫び、暴れ、3回刺し、先生にも刺さりました(T_T)大人しく、優しい、攻撃しない子ですが、痛みで暴れてしまいます。(T_T)3人で抑えているのに。(>_<)でも、火曜日がそんなだったのに、水曜日、木曜日、金曜日、叫び声がマシでした。何が違うのかわからないけど、背中のあらゆるところに注射をして、こぶだらけなので、もしかしたら、こぶに刺さっていたのかもしれません。(>_<)あと13回、やらなきゃいけないのが、私も栗ちゃんも辛いです。キャンプファイヤーで皆様にご支援を頂戴しているから、くじけてはいけない、最後まで頑張らなきゃ。と、思って、なんとか、心を鬼にして、注射をしています。お兄ちゃんからはご飯を食べなくなりました。90分～180分おきに、ママがそばに居たら、食べるから缶詰め～と言います。居ないと食べないので、一日一個消費ができず、オキエサでお皿に出した干からびた缶詰めを廃棄しています。ad缶は、栗ちゃんの名付け親の保護主さんが二ケース送って下さいました。ありがとうございますm(_ _)m一日一回、セイラさんとマリアちゃんに、5分～60分、面会させています。彼らの距離感は、家族だなぁと感じます。マリアちゃんに関しては、夜間水便で慌てる事がなさそうな日は、栗ちゃんの居る部屋に寝かしてみましたが、栗ちゃんのご飯を盗み食いもせず、非常に良い子にしてくれました。↓栗ちゃんも、マリアちゃんが居ても、ご飯を食べてくれました。マリアちゃんと栗ちゃんには、関係性ができている感じです。セイラさんと栗ちゃんだと、セイラさんが空気読めないので、まだ目を離せず微妙です。(^_^;)栗ちゃんの体重は、私が一晩だけお友達のピンチを助けるため、お兄ちゃん任せにした日だけ、減少してしまいましたが、以後は増加傾向のままです。肩の傷は毛が生え始めました。投与量は二倍量継続最後までで、体重増加に伴い3.38ml、約3.4mlに達しました。一瓶5mlで、379ドルです。瓶は、50本以上あります。子猫なら何匹分なのか、、、(>_<)三カ月連続購入額がすごいです。一般的な家庭でカード使う額じゃないです。臨時使用枠増額をしていますが、カード使い分けたり、様々な手法でなんとか、皆様の支援が届くまで遣り繰りです。使用済み4/7現在在庫4/7現在毎日の通院代もかかります。子猫ちゃんじゃなく体重がある成猫ですし、二倍量投与に、飲み薬が無理で注射薬なので、他のFIPのキャンプファイヤーより高いです。集めきれず再挑戦になりました。(>_<)一回目の詳細欄、活動報告投稿を全て読んで、栗ちゃんには支援が必要だと、ご納得の上、ご支援頂ければと思います(>_<)賛否両論あると思います。人間コロナで、猫コロナどころじゃないですよね。私も自分の通院以外外出を控えないと、皆様より死亡リスクが高い体です。うちのかかりつけ獣医さんでは、予約対応などで、分散診療をされています。こんな時に拡散協力依頼や、ご支援依頼をする事、めちゃめちゃ心苦しく、実は、4/10は支援が全くなかったみたいで、3歳、やはり子猫じゃないから、死なせるべきだったのかな？と、毎日の拷問な激痛注射を耐えさせている事に、心が折れそうになったりも。。。でも、やり始めたからには、やりきらないと、一回目だけでも約700人もの皆様から、栗ちゃんが生きていく為にご支援を頂いたので、と、心を鬼にして、栗ちゃんと、もう少しの間、もう少しが私達には長いけど、頑張っいきます。(>_<)ユーチューブに、チャンネル登録ありがとう御座います。780人を越えました。1000人になれば、広告収入を申請手続き可能です。たいした作品でも、なんでもないですが、日々の三匹の様子を今後も、キャンプファイヤーが終了後も、変わらず配信していきます。拡散協力依頼を、青木さやか様、松島花様が、ご快諾下さいました。誠にありがとうございます。皆様からの推薦で、頑張って依頼しました。また、ご推薦頂きましたら、お願いに回ります。皆様からも拡散力のある方に、ご依頼頂きましたら幸いです。各種SNSでの、拡散協力して頂いている皆様、毎日流して下さる方もいらっしゃって、私より頑張って拡散して下さって、本当にありがとうございます。m(_ _)m心身共に限界突破中ですが、物理的にスマホをホールドが難しい体となってきました。一回目のラスト1週間頑張って拡散活動しましたが、今はあまりできていません。ごめんなさい。(>_<)注射は現状4/23までなので、栗ちゃんのケアが一段落しましたら、キャンプファイヤーのラスト1週間は、また拡散活動頑張れるように、今はあまりムリせずにと思います。皆様の拡散協力が頼みです。(>_<)どうか、拡散協力よろしくお願い致しますm(_ _)m真夜中の栗ちゃん

About this Project.Dear patrons,In our family, within our capability, we have always been involved with animal-related volunteering on several occasions.  From being a puppy-walker to fund-raiser for the Guide Dog Association, searching for lost large dogs in neighbourhood and helping as a baggage-volunteer to transport dogs from airport to their carer as such.We also have passion to help cats and.  In the past, we had worked as a milk-volunteer to the kittens which were abandoned by their mothers.We have always aimed to save some small lives at the best we can, within the limits of our financial circumstances, but without affecting our own pets.Christopher aka Kuri-chan (in Japanese), the orange tabby cat, is one of the three kittens who were abandoned and saved from inside the wall three years ago.  I helped them grow until they find new foster homes.  Other two of his brothers found their new owner, but while Kuri-chan happened to stay a little longer than the others, he had a mild epileptic seizure at the age of 7-months.  That was when we stopped looking for his foster parent and adopted Kuri-chan to ourself.Kuri-chan's epileptic seizure happened only once, and ever since, he has been so healthy that he never visits the vet other than for those necessary vaccinations.  But last January, he suddenly became ill and was informed that he could die within 10 days suffering from the fatal disease, Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP).This project is a sequel to our first project that was conducted until the end of March, which was to raise a fund for Kuri-chan's medicine and his treatments but unfortunately the target budget was unreached.  You can find more about the previous project and all the posts from here:https://camp-fire.jp/projects/view/236239(includes all the cost, the information on the purchase of medicine, etc.)What we want to achieve with this project:The budget is targeted mainly to cover the shortage in the previous project and the production cost of the return goods.In the previous project, the budget was the estimate of the total cost of the medicine (MUTIAN) needed for Kuri-chan.  It was based on his weight and his ongoing conditions.  The 84 days treatment was calculated to use 1.5 dose per injections, but for the last 4 weeks as he has started to gain his weight back to his normal, the amount of dosage had been increased to double.  It will stay at the same double for the next 3 weeks.The cost for the medicine is apparent from the last project and we have already purchased enough amount of MUTIAN which should last till the end of his 84 days treatment.Just to note, a 5ml bottle of MUTIAN costs $379 and 53 bottles are purchased, and on top of this, there will be everyday's vet fees for 84 days and the production cost for the return goods.Now better accurate figures in hand, together with the last balance (the funded amount and shortage), we are re-challenging to raise the fund again.The first day the vet used MUTIAN on Kuri-chan was on the 31st of January.  Ever since, he has been taking the injections at the same hour everyday.  Compare to the normal vaccine, this MUTIAN injections are very painful for him.  Our heart breaks everytime Kuri-chan screams on the vet's table at the same hour everyday.A few clips are uploaded on my YouTube channel: (please subscribe)Kuri-chan's reaction to MUTIAN injection:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWqkYDzOiloKuri-chan's reaction to normal injection:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fn5RtGSuGHYThis 84-days programme should end on the 23rd of April.
