あっという間に、プロジェクト終了から一ヶ月が過ぎてしまったようです。

みなさん、お元気に過ごされていますでしょうか。

仕事に、外出自粛に、仕事に、なかなか写真を撮る時間が撮れていないのですが、あいだ時間を見つけながらインスタを更新しております。ただ、冊子を作るという初めてに試みなので、ゆっくり考えながら、焦らずポートフォリオを作り直そうかなと考えています。

この間大学の教授に文字起こしの仕事をお願いされて、彼女のインタビューを聞いていたのですが、日本と西洋の建築空間の比較を、宗教建築や茶の間を例に上げて話していました。

東京の街を歩いていると海外とは少し違う、公共空間の概念、使われ方が見られるような気がしていて。それを起点に意識的に被写体を探しながら、時に流されながら、写真を撮り直そうかと思っています。

とりあえず、zineの方向性が大まかに決まったので、来月から自転車で写真を週末に撮ったりして行こうと思っています。

In the blink of an eye, it seems that a month has passed since the project ended.

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

With work, semi-lockdown, and work, I haven't had a lot of time to take pictures, but I try to find time to update my Instagram. This is my first attempt at making an actual zine, so I'm thinking of taking my time and reworking my portfolio.

The other day I was asked to do some transcription work for my professor, and I was listening to an interview of her, in which she talked about the comparison between Japanese and Western architectural spaces, using religious architecture and tea rooms as examples.

When I walk around the streets of Tokyo, I feel like I see a unique concept of public space and how it is used, as compared to other countries. With this as a starting point, I'm thinking of consciously looking for subjects and sometimes going along with the flow.

For now, I've decided on the general direction of the zine, and I'm going to start taking pictures on weekends by bicycle next month.
