Dear Backers, 


Allow us to switch to English going forward as we are very excited for you to receive your Ocean Bottles soon. 


I hope all is well, and thank you again for your patience through this stressful process. 


As some of you may be aware, the bottles shipped straight from our factory in China. As we are based in the UK, we use a third party partner to help us fulfil orders from China to you in Japan to save on carbon emissions which would have been incurred if we had shipped from the UK. 


What was unknown to us in early August when the partner received the goods from our factory (as you will see in the photo attached) is that there are still very severe delays related to Covid in shipments going to Japan, as food and medical equipment is taking priority above all else. 


As a result, our shipping partner keeps being denied a place on a vehicle to ship the goods to Japan. We try each day, and each day receive the same answer. 


Please rest assured that we keep applying pressure to carriers everyday, and that once the goods arrive in Japan, you will receive your own tracking information.
