毎週月曜日の夜、箕面キューズモールにある「みのお市民活動センター」で、ワンコイン（500円！）の英語クラスを15年間続けておられるDonDonEnglishさんより、ご支援＆応援コメントをいただきました。
このクラスに参加される方は、みんな何らかの形で国際交流協会の活動につながる人達とのこと。今回も「みんなでコムカフェのチャレンジを応援できたら」ということでご支援いただきました。

主宰のドナルド・ギャグナーさんからのメッセージです。

When I think of comm cafe, I think of a warm, pleasant, clean, peaceful and friendly place. Why? The staff who greet you are so kind and friendly and helpful. Comm means “community,” and that is what one feels when they are there. Such a community of world citizens; so many countries, nationalities, religions and ethnicities are represented by the staff, chefs, and customers. 

Everyone feels welcome, no matter their background. Besides this, the food and drinks also reflect the world and its many tastes; fresh and delicious, as well as reasonably priced. It is a wonderful way to enjoy time with friends or alone, when you visit comm cafe. I have watched it grow from idea to reality, and I am so proud of its success and reputation.

　コムカフェというと、温かくて、楽しく、清潔で、穏やかで、親しみやすい場所を思い浮かべます。なぜか？出迎えてくれるスタッフがとても親切で、親身になって相談に乗ってくれるからです。コムとは「コミュニティー」という意味であり、コムカフェにいるとそれを感じることができます。ここでは、スタッフ、シェフ、そしてお客さまが、さまざまな国、国籍、宗教、民族性を表現している、そのような世界市民のコミュニティーなのです。

　全ての人々が、そのバックグラウンドにかかわらず歓迎されていると感じています。さらに、料理や飲み物も、世界各国の味を反映していて、新鮮でおいしく、しかもリーズナブル。友人と、または、たとえ一人ででもコムカフェを訪れると、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことができます。私は、この店がアイデアから現実のものになるのをずっと見てきました。そして、その成功と評判を誇りに思っています。
