今回ゲーム化される「第１節 封厄ノ塔」では、智人と虚人の出会いのストーリーが描かれます。
最強の兵器である虚人は敵の攻撃を受けても傷ひとつ付かず、両腕に装備できる武器や、強力な『虚空粒子砲』で大群を一掃するなど圧倒的な力で敵を蹂躙します。
智人の持つ『創造の力』は、無から有を生み出す強力な力です。今は不完全な力ですが、それでも虚人を助けるには十分な力を発揮してくれます。
退廃的で切なくも美しい世界『ハコニワ』。第１節ではその最下層にある『封厄ノ塔』をメインに探索できます。『破壊』を得意とする虚人と『創造』の力を持つ智人。相反するふたりの力で、道を切り開いていきましょう。
本作の二人の主人公「智人」と「虚人」を演じてくれる声優さんをご紹介します！
IZON.の物語を考えている段階から、智人は悠木碧さんに、虚人は細谷佳正さんに演じていただけたらなと思っていました。ダメ元でお伺いをしてみて、難しい場合は声優事務所に相談して他の方を見つけようと制作メンバーでも話していたのですが...まさか本当にお二人に演じていただけるとは思いませんでした！前向きなお返事をいただけた時はとても嬉しかったです。
悠木碧さんは智人の"強がりだけど寂しがり屋な性格"を、細谷佳正さんは虚人の"無機質な存在からどんどん人格が形成されていく過程"を、お二人ともとても丁寧に演じてくださいました。
今回のクラウドファンディングでは、ゲーム開発自体ではなく、開発が決まったゲームをより面白く、よりリッチなものにすることを目的にしています。最終的に集まった支援金額に応じて様々な機能を追加実装する予定です！
ファンの皆さんと一緒に第１節を創り上げ、そして第２節以降も開発できるように環境を整えていきたいと考えています！
IZON.の原作になっているのは、株式会社SO-TAから発売されているカプセルトイ「紡ギ箱」。造形作家Yoshi.がデザイン、造形、原作、プロデュースを行っており、その独特なデザインと世界観が国内外で高く評価され、累計販売数は120万個を突破しました。
IZON.はそんな「紡ギ箱」の世界観を完全再現したゲームです。原作を知ってるファンの方なら、今までカプセルトイで感じていた世界観により深くまで入り込み、さらに楽しめるようなゲームになっているはずです。一方で、ゲームで初登場するキャラクターもいるため、「紡ギ箱」を知らない方でも十分楽しめるゲームになっています。
今作で何よりも重視したのは、物語の追体感。IZON.の世界観に深くまで浸って、キャラクターたちに感情移入してほしいと思っています。
プレイヤーが操作するのは、虚人という無敵の兵器。自ら虚人を操作して敵や背景までも破壊する「爽快感」と、破壊し尽くした時の「罪悪感」は、表裏一体となってあなたに襲い掛かります。ゲームに入り込めば入り込むほど「智人という大切な人を守る為の行動とはいえ、あの選択は正しかったのだろうか」という葛藤も生まれるはずです。
単純な善悪では語ることのできない物語と体験を皆さんに提供できるようなゲームを目指しています。
IZON.の世界観を言葉で表現するなら「無機質なものを溶かして有機的なものを生み出しているような世界」だと思います。そんな独特な世界観を徹底的に表現する為に、背景物の全てのアセットをデザインから起こしました。
また、Yoshi.の世界観を理解しているゲーム開発経験のない友人たちも巻き込み、彼らに造形してもらったものもゲームに組み込みました。
個人でのゲーム開発の限界を超えた独自の開発プロセスが、IZON.の退廃的でありながらも切なく美しい、唯一無二の世界観を生み出しています。

'TSUMUGIBAKO,' a capsule toy series released by SO-TA Inc., serves as the original work for IZON. The Sculptor Yoshi. is responsible for the design, sculpting, original concept, and production. The series has been highly praised both domestically and internationally for its distinctive design and world, with total sales surpassing 1.2 million units.
IZON. is a game that faithfully recreates the world of 'TSUMUGIBAKO.' Fans of the original work will find themselves more deeply immersed in the world they know from the capsule toys, enjoying it even more. Additionally, with new characters introduced in the game, even those who are not familiar with 'TSUMUGIBAKO' will find it thoroughly enjoyable.
In this game, our top priority is the story experience. We want players to deeply immerse themselves in the world of IZON. and empathize with the characters. You will control Kyojin, an incredibly powerful weapon. As you command Kyojin and destroy enemies and environments, you will simultaneously feel the exhilaration and the guilt of your actions. The deeper you immerse yourself in the game, the more you will grapple with the conflict of protecting someone precious, wondering if your choices were right. We are focusing to deliver a story and experience that goes beyond good and evil.
When you experience the world of IZON, you find a place where mechanical elements dissolve into organic beauty. To fully express this unique world, we created all the background assets from scratch.
Additionally, we involved individuals from outside the gaming industry who deeply understand Yoshi's vision and incorporated their creations into the game. This collaborative approach, surpassing the limits of individual game development, has resulted in a one-of-a-kind world that is both hauntingly decayed and poignantly beautiful.
