私は神戸・大阪・スウェーデンで広告代理店を経営する傍ら

自主映画制作を行っている、平成9年、兵庫県神戸市生まれ。

地元のだんじり祭りを愛する男、Popolu Studioの室屋（ムロヤ）と申します。

今回、太平洋戦争を題材にした仮想ドラマ映画（15分-30分の短編映画）を制作するため、

クラウドファンディングに挑戦することを決意しました。

戦後80年「もしも」という仮想の物語を通して、私たちが今、どれほど恵まれた時代に生きているのか、そして平和がいかに尊いものかを、次代に伝えたいと考えています。

第二次世界大戦末期に、実際に計画されていた

「ダウンフォール作戦」「コロネット作戦」（IF）を描きます。

（もし本当にこの作戦が実施されていたら、）

（日本はどうなっていたか…アメリカもどんな影響を受けたか…）

（そんなリアリティがある作品に挑戦します。）

この映画で描きたいこと

この作品で描きたいのは、「英雄」や「勝敗」ではありません。

極限状態の中で生きることを強いられたごく普通の人々の選択と感情です。

もし戦争が終わっていなかったら。もし、あの日常が続いていたら。

その「もしも」を通して、観る人自身が今の生活を振り返るきっかけになればと願っています。

リアルさへのこだわり

本作では、軍事教練の専門家、歴史考証の専門家

様々な専門家に協力していただきながら可能な限り歴史考証をおこないリアルな描写を目指します。

・時代考証に基づいた衣装・小道具

・当時の生活様式や言葉遣いの再現

戦争は、決してドラマチックなものでも、誰かが簡単に割り切れる出来事でもありませんでした。

日常の延長線上に突然現れ、理不尽さや恐怖、迷いを抱えたまま生きる選択を迫られた人々が確かに存在していました。

だからこそ本作では、過剰な演出や誇張によって感情を煽るのではなく、当時の生活様式、言葉遣い、空気感を丁寧に積み重ねることで、「そこに人が生きていた」という実感を伝えたいと考えています。

リアルさへのこだわりは、作品の完成度のためだけではありません。それは、戦争を生き抜いた先人たちへの敬意であり、今の私たちが享受している平和が、決して当たり前ではなかったことを忘れないための姿勢です。

この映画が、観る人それぞれの心の中で「自分ならどう生きるだろうか」と静かに問いを残す作品になることを願っています。

現在の準備状況

すでに本作は企画段階を超え、予告編の制作、一部のシーンの撮影を終え

終戦記念日に向けて本編制作に向けた準備フェーズに入っています。

専門家を交えての脚本開発、資料調査、ロケーション選定などを並行して進めており、

ご支援が集まり次第、撮影規模などを調整しながら速やかに撮影へ移行できる体制を整えています。

現在以下の準備を進めています。

・脚本は初稿を完成させ、現在ブラッシュアップ段階に入っています

・ダウンフォール作戦の資料調査を行い、時代背景や生活描写の精度を高めています

・ロケーション候補地の選定および撮影可否の確認を進行中です

・衣装・小道具について、時代考証を踏まえた方向性を整理しています

・少人数編成での撮影体制を想定し、有志が集まっている状態。演者・スタッフの規模及び構成を検討しています

・支援金の使い道について

1.撮影ロケ地費用

　撮影の舞台となる、1950年代の建物、施設の使用料金。

　兵庫県内のロケ地・丹波市・丹波篠山市様のご協力を得ながら

　歴史ある建造物での撮影を進めています。

2.出演者達のギャランティ

　役者のキャスティング、お弁当代、交通費・宿泊費用

3.撮影小物のレンタルと購入費用

　1950年代の米・日の装備・衣装などの調達

　年代物であり、復元レプリカが非常に少なく費用が掛かります。

4.撮影スタッフ・ヘアメイク・特殊メイクアーティストのギャランティ

制作費用は監督、室屋からの完全実費と関係者様方からのご協力で制作を進めておりましたが

既に総額：500,000円以上（機材費を含まない）使用しており、予算が足りず制作が難航している状況です。

現代も尚耐えることのない、争い。世界中で文化・宗教・資源を巡って争いは絶えておらず

世界は混沌としております。

本企画の趣旨にご賛同いただき、戦後八十年という節目に、「もしも」という仮想の物語を通して、私たちが今どれほど恵まれた時代に生きているのか、そして平和がいかに尊く、かけがえのないものであるのかを、あらためて考える機会としていただけましたら幸いです。

また、決して忘れてはならない出来事があったという事実を、

次代へと確かに伝えていきたいと考えております。

Self-Introduction

Thank you very much for visiting this page.

My name is Muroya from Popolu Studio. I was born in Kobe, Hyogo in 1997. While running an advertising agency based in Kobe, Osaka, and Sweden, I also work on independent film productions. I am a man who deeply loves my hometown’s traditional danjiri festival.

For this project, I have decided to take on the challenge of crowdfunding in order to produce a short fictional drama film (15–30 minutes) set during the Pacific War.

Marking 80 years since the end of the war, I hope to convey to the next generation—through a “what if” story—how fortunate we are to live in this era, and how precious peace truly is.

This film is based on the historically planned but never executed operations at the end of World War II: “Operation Downfall” and “Operation Coronet” (IF).

What if these operations had actually been carried out?What would have happened to Japan?How would the United States have been affected?

We aim to explore these questions through a story grounded in realism.

What This Film Seeks to Portray

This film is not about heroes or victory and defeat.

It focuses on the choices and emotions of ordinary people who were forced to live under extreme circumstances.

What if the war had not ended?What if that everyday life had continued?

Through these “what if” scenarios, I hope the audience will reflect on their own lives today.

Commitment to Realism

For this project, we are working with military training experts and historical consultants to achieve the highest level of historical accuracy possible.

• Costumes and props based on historical research
• Recreating the lifestyle and language of the time

War was never something dramatic or easily understood.It suddenly appeared within everyday life, forcing people to live with fear, injustice, and uncertainty.

That is why this film avoids excessive dramatization or exaggeration. Instead, we carefully build the atmosphere of the time—its daily life, language, and emotions—to convey the feeling that real people truly lived through it.

Our commitment to realism is not only for the quality of the film.It is also an expression of respect for those who lived through the war, and a reminder that the peace we enjoy today was never something to be taken for granted.

I hope this film will quietly leave each viewer with the question:“What would I have done in that situation?”

Current Production Status

The project has already moved beyond the planning stage.We have completed the teaser trailer and filmed several scenes, and are now entering the preparation phase for full production, aiming toward the anniversary of the end of the war.

We are currently working on:

• The first draft of the script is complete and now being refined
• Ongoing research on Operation Downfall to enhance historical accuracy
• Location scouting and securing filming permissions
• Planning costumes and props based on historical references
• Assembling a small, dedicated team of volunteers and considering cast and crew structure

We are fully prepared to move quickly into production once sufficient funding is secured.

Schedule (Tentative)

• July 2025: Concept and project planning
• November 30, 2025: Teaser trailer filming
• January 2026: Teaser release
• March–June 2026 (planned): Start of principal production
• August 2026: Target completion
• January–March 2027: Submission to international and short film festivals

Please note:Due to film festival regulations (such as world premiere requirements), the public release schedule may change, and delivery of the full film to supporters may be delayed. Thank you for your understanding.

Additionally, due to budget constraints, production has been challenging and the overall schedule is currently behind.

Use of Funds

1. Location Costs
   Filming in historical buildings and facilities resembling the 1950s
   (with cooperation from locations in Hyogo Prefecture, including Tamba City and Tamba Sasayama)
2. Cast Compensation
   Casting, meals, transportation, and accommodation
3. Props and Equipment
   Rental and purchase of historically accurate Japanese and U.S. military gear and costumes
   (Due to rarity and limited replicas, costs are high)
4. Crew Compensation
   Filming crew, hair and makeup, and special effects artists

So far, production has been funded personally by the director (Muroya) and through the generous support of collaborators.We have already spent over ¥500,000 (excluding equipment costs), and the project is currently facing financial difficulties.

Even today, conflicts around the world have not ceased.Nations continue to struggle over culture, religion, and resources, and the world remains in a state of uncertainty.
