ハワイ島のUCCコナコーヒー農園の見学を終えてもどったデビットから以下のような感謝の興奮メール（全文）が届きました。

Aloha and Hafa Adai Onishi san,

First of all, we would like to thank you you and the KFC Triathlon Club for giving us the opportunity to visit andlearn about coffee processing in UCC Hawaii Kona Coffee Estate. It's been an educational experience for us to bring back homeand share the knowledge with our future Rota coffee Farmers here in the beautiful Nature's Treasure island Rota.

With that said, we would also like to give thanks to Mr. Nakahira San and Mr. Jon Kunitake their staff for taking their timeto teach us how to pick and process mature coffee beans and also touring us around their Kona Coffee Estate.It's an experience of a life time.

ハワイでは、コーヒー豆の収穫のやり方、脱穀の仕方、乾燥の方法、そして、焙煎等々、一連の作業行程を全部体験させてもらって、全く知識のなかったデビット達にとっては、この上なく良い経験になったと思います。この経験は将来のロタ島のコーヒー栽培において、貴重な宝物になると確信します。

収穫作業にご多忙の中、彼らの面倒を見て下さったUCCコナコーヒー農園の中平さん、ジョンさん、その他のスタッフの皆さんに大感謝です。本当にありがとうございました。
