Production is progressing nicely, so we wanted to give everyone an update regarding the current status. The main factory has begun manufacturing and is in full swing on various parts of the bag. The first wave of production will include Graphite, Matte Black, and Silver. Since we have thousands of pieces to produce, we have decided that it would be most efficient to have those colors on the first production run. Our factory has completed many outer shells and the interior lining — here's a preview.
The other components, including the Shark Wheels, the Wireless Phone Charger, and the USB Ports (among other parts), have also been completed and will be assembled all together shortly. The final assembly is now slated to begin about the second week of December and the first pieces completed towards the end of December. Our first container is scheduled to leave the factory in late December. We're waiting on our Bluetooth Locks to be completed by our Tech partners and finalize the PCBA programming. Please keep in mind that these locks were developed and created from an idea and a vision which are a first to the luggage industry (thanks to all of you), so they require extra attention to detail and QC testing.
The updated SkyValet Mobile App has been submitted to both Apple and Google for final approval and publication. We will be continuing to make changes and updates to the App as delivery gets closer, so the app works seamlessly with your SkyValet. One of our team members will be departing to China again early next week to oversee production and see things hands-on.
