今年度のガイドヘルパー研修では、外国にルーツのある受講者の支援体制を準備しています。
長年大田区で外国人相談支援に従事し、外国にルーツのある高校生の支援活動にも従事している一般社団法人レガートおおたに、受講支援とアドバイザーとしての協力を依頼しています。
その一環として英訳していただいた募集広告が以下になります(^^)/
FY2021 Guide Helper Training Course(Weekday mornings)

Training course for mobility support of persons with intellectual disabilities (school commuting)
Recruitment of trainees for mobility support staff (Guide Helper) designated by the Tokyo metropolitan government.
Do you want to be a Guide Helper who assists people with intellectual disabilities who have difficulty going out by themselves?
Those who complete this course will be qualified to work as Guide Helpers for the Mobility assistance program implemented by municipal governments. Guide Helper is a job to use trains or buses to commute to work or schools together, or accompany them for a walk or outing on holidays.
Would you like to be trained and use your spare time to benefit others?
Qualification can be obtained with a total of 19 hours of training. It qualifies as entry-level to Welfare Service for People with Disabilities.

October 27 (Wed) 9:30-12:00 Lecture
November 10 (Wed) 9:30-11:40 Lecture
November 17 (Wed) 9:30-11:40 Lecture
November 24 (Wed) 9:30-11:40 Lecture
December 1 (Wed) 9:30-11:40 Lecture
December 8 (Wed) 9:30-12:50 Lecture
December 15 (Wed) 9:30-12:50 Workshop (in person class at the venue)
December 22 (Wed) 9:30-12:50 Workshop (in person class at the venue)
The lectures will be given remotely with ZOOM.
The participants can join with a computer, tablet device or smartphone.
Please check in advance that you can use your own camera and microphone.
During the lectures, the participants need to turn on their cameras so the instructor and other participants can see their face and so that they can see the other participants as well.
Please refrain from applying if you cannot use ZOOM.
Note:
At the moment due to the National government’s temporary policy to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the lectures will be conducted online. If this policy is canceled, all of the curriculum will be conducted onsite.
The venue for the lectures in case they are conducted onsite is:
Rokugo shukaishitsu (Rokugo meeting room)
located at 5F Rokugo-chiikiryoku-suishin-center, 2-44-11 Naka-rokugo, Ota City)
The workshops will be conducted onsite.
(December 15 and 22 only) A venue inside Ota City
Capacity: 30 participants
If there are a large number of applicants, the participants will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis. Please apply as early as possible.
Target Participants
Anyone can participate, including foreign nationals, those who want to have a second income or part-time job, senior citizens, students, and those who are raising children.
Participation fee: 4,000 yen (including textbook fee)
After applying, we will provide the bank account information to transfer the fee.
Note: For applications from business establishments related to mobility support the fee is 10,000 yen (including textbook fee).
