I am convinced that the active participation of foreign executives doing business in Japan is crucial to revitalizing the current Japanese economy.

My Profile
我的简介

私は、日本の関東地方に位置する埼玉県児玉郡上里町で生まれ育ちました。
この町は、からっ風で知られ、厳しい自然環境の中で強い精神を養うことができる場所です。
家族は男の子ばかりの3人兄弟で、私はその中で真ん中の子として育ちました。
子供の頃からサッカーに情熱を注ぎ、地元のチームで練習に励んでいましたが、プロの道はなかなか開けず、自分の将来について多くの夜を悩みました。

そんな中、新たな挑戦としてアメリカへの留学を決意しました。
この大胆な決断は、私の人生における重要な転機となりました。
親に頼み込んで、彼らの理解と支援を得て、未知の国へと旅立ちましたが、異文化に触れ、さまざまな経験を通じて、自分の視野を広げることができました。
サッカーでの夢はかないませんでしたが、留学という新たな道が、私の人生に新しい可能性をもたらしてくれたのです。

I was born and raised in Kamisato-cho, Kodama-gun, Saitama Prefecture, located in the Kanto region of Japan. 
This town is known for its karakaze, a harsh natural environment where one can develop a strong spirit. 
My family consists of three brothers, all boys, and I grew up as the middle child among them. 
Since childhood, I was passionate about soccer and practiced hard with the local team, but the path to a professional career did not open up and I spent many nights worrying about my future. 

In the midst of all this, I decided to study abroad in the United States as a new challenge. 
This bold decision was an important turning point in my life. I asked my parents for help, and with their understanding and support, I set off for an unknown country. 
I was able to broaden my horizons through exposure to different cultures and a variety of experiences. 
Although my dream in soccer did not come true, the new path of studying abroad brought new possibilities into my life.

After graduating from college, I joined a Deloitte CPA firm to launch my career. 
There, I was assigned to audit duties and through my practical experience, I accumulated a deep knowledge of both the theoretical and practical aspects of accounting. 
Building on this experience, I moved to a prestigious foreign CPA firm in Tokyo to further develop my career. 

My career took a further leap forward when I was given the opportunity to work in tax at Goldman Sachs. 
This experience further expanded my expertise and developed my ability to deal with the complexities of taxation in an international business environment. 
In addition, I was also responsible for executive compensation calculations at UBS Bank, which deepened my knowledge of sophisticated financial strategies and compensation structures.

Later in my career, I also worked at Arthur Andersen, where I was able to further develop my accounting and finance expertise in a wide variety of areas. 
Through these experiences, I developed a broad range of expertise and practical skills in accounting and finance, establishing a high level of professionalism. 

Through my accounting and finance experience in a variety of industries, I have honed my ability to solve complex financial problems and apply this knowledge to the services offered by KANAI & CO. 
In addition, my experience working in different cultures and business environments has been instrumental in understanding the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds and advising them accordingly.

What I want to achieve with this project

しかし、金融公庫に相談した際、残念ながら私たちのプロジェクトはまだ実績がないため、融資を受けることができませんでした。
特に、私が提供しようとしている補助金や助成金のサポートに関する経験の不足が理由でした。
これにより、伝統的な金融ルートを通じた資金調達が難しいことが明らかになりました。

そこで私は、日本最大級の補助金・助成金のコンサル会社と交渉し、そ の現場の実践作業に参加させてもらうことに成功しました。なんと、そこでは一般の方々が考える国からの補助金というものが、どのように採 択され、どう最終的に会社の銀行口座に振り込まれていくのか、その裏 側を見ることができたのです！ 

補助金を申請した経験のある人であればご存知ですが、補助金の申請には膨大な量の書類を準備する労力が必要です。
しかし、一般的な補助金 が選考に合格する割合は、日本企業であってもわずか5割程度です。
2件に1件は申請しても落ちてしまうのです！
しかも、合格しても申請した金額の全部が支払われるとは限りません。
なぜなら、この手続きには、そこらじゅうに落とし穴とも言える罠が隠されているからです。
しかし、このノウハウを知れば、90%以上の確率で申請した全額を得ることができる、それを目にしたのです。 

この秘宝を、日本で最も大きなハンデキャップを抱えた外国人経営者に 是非とも伝えたい、そう考えたのです。
私自身、アメリカやヨーロッパ でビジネス経験や起業を試みて、本当に苦労をしました。
だから、なお さらそう考えたのです。

My experience living in the U.S. has inspired me to develop a strong desire to help people from other countries living in Japan. 
This is because I can work in a foreign country and deeply understand the feelings of people facing various difficulties. However, when I consulted with the Japan Finance Corporation, unfortunately we were not able to receive a loan because our project did not yet have a proven track record. 

 In particular, this was due to a lack of experience related to supporting the subsidies and grants I was trying to provide. This made it clear that it would be difficult to obtain funding through traditional financial channels. 
I therefore negotiated with one of the largest subsidy and grant consulting firms in Japan and succeeded in getting them to allow me to participate in their field practice work. 
I was able to see behind-the-scenes how what most people think of as government subsidies are adopted and how they are ultimately deposited into the company's bank account! 
As anyone who has applied for a subsidy knows, it takes a lot of effort to prepare a huge amount of documents.

Moreover, even if you are successful, you may not be paid the entire amount you applied for.

However, if you know this know-how, you can get the full amount of your application with a probability of over 90%, and I have seen it in front of my eyes! I wanted to share this hidden treasure with foreign business owners in Japan who are at the greatest disadvantage.
I myself had experienced real hardships in the U.S. and Europe when I tried to start my own business and experience business. That's why I wanted to share it with them even more.

I have a strong desire to revitalize the Japanese economy. 
I feel that Japan is currently at an important turning point and needs new challenges that it has never experienced before. 
Given the prolonged economic stagnation, I believe that there is a limit to what Japanese people alone can do. 
Therefore, I strongly feel that we need to take full advantage of the talents and strengths of foreigners living in Japan and work with them to re-energize the Japanese economy.

Current status of this project

Through my accounting and finance experience in a wide range of industries in countries around the world, I have developed the ability to effectively solve complex financial problems. 
My cross-cultural work experience has honed my problem solving skills and given me the flexibility to adapt to diverse business environments. 
However, my lack of direct work experience in the area of subsidy and grant support has prevented me from obtaining financing from the Japan Finance Corporation. 

To overcome this challenge, I joined a company specializing in subsidy and grant application support as a staff member and took a role in charge of corporate subsidy and grant applications. 
I am currently working on several projects and am confident that within the next six months I will be able to provide cutting edge practical know-how that will give me hands-on experience in this field. 
This experience will be important in furthering my professional development and setting the direction of my future career.
