既に多くのメディアで取り上げていただいておりますが、9月12日（土）・13日（日）にロサンゼルス”The WILTERN”公演が開催されました！
9月12日、13日の両日公演共にSOLD OUTの表示が会場入口に取り付けられました。一般立見エリアの良い位置を確保するために早朝から会場の建物に沿って長い列が出来、多くの若者が開場を待ち望んでいました。CASIOPEAのLA公演は、1988年にワールドツアーの一環で「ROXY」で開催されて以来となり、その日も9月13日だったことから、まさに38年後の公演が実現するという歴史の1ページでした。
コンサートの幕開けは、46年前にロスアンゼルスでレコーディングをした記念すべき曲「EYES OF THE MIND」でスタート。ホールに鳴り響くサウンドと共に観客の体が揺れ動き、あちらこちらで「ウォー！」というリアクションが上がります。最初のコーナーはCASIOPEAの歴史を辿る楽曲を第1期から第4期まで「DAZZLING」「GLORY」「TOP WIND」「A・O・ZO・RA」「CATCH THE WIND」「TODAY FOR TOMORROW」「THE HOPEFUL WORLD」と8曲通して演奏。会場に集まったほとんどの観客が、初めてのCASIOPEAライブサウンドに包まれて一気に興奮が高まっていきます。
8曲目が終わって野呂一生がマイクを手に取ると、野呂コールが飛び交います。「Hello Ladies & Gentlemen in Los Angeles!」と英語で挨拶すると観客は高く腕を上げてこたえ、この後のMCもすべて英語で行いました。
続いて昨年リリースした『TRUE BLUE』から、各メンバー曲を披露するコーナーとして、まずは「SKY SO HIGH」の曲紹介をすると大歓声が上がり、第5期のCASIOPEAとしてリリースした初のアルバムが現地で浸透していると実感。今井義頼「CARAVEL」、安部潤「EAGLE FLY AROUND」、鳴瀬喜博「TIME FLIES BY」の順に演奏し、各メンバー曲の前に本人を紹介すると、名前を叫ぶ観客で会場が湧き上がりました。
野呂がファイルコーナー 残り3曲を告げると会場からは、“まだまだ聴いていたい”と熱望する声が上がり、「DOMINO LINE」のイントロが奏でられると、より大きな歓声が響きます。ライブでの“ドミノ倒し”を目の当たりにして緻密なテクニックに声を張り上げて熱狂。「TOKIMEKI」から本編最後の曲「ASAYAKE」になると観客は総立ちで大合唱、メンバーと共に拳を高く上げてヒートアップしていきます。80年代の日本でのフュージョンブームを彷彿させるような熱気が、まさに国境を越えて、若いリスナー中心に新たなムーブメントが巻き起こっていると実感しました。
アンコールは、アメリカでも人気の高い「TAKE ME」「FIGHT MAN」と2曲続けて演奏。大喝采の後、メンバー4人がステージ前に並んでも大歓声は収まらず、そのまま、ダブルアンコールへ・・・曲は澄み切った青空が広がるロスアンゼルスにピッタリの「THE SKY」。全18曲、観客のハートをしっかりと掴んだ感動的なLA公演は割れんばかりの拍手と歓喜の声で幕を閉じました。
メンバー4人がステージフロントで観客に手を振ってこたえる表情は晴れ晴れとしています。熱のこもったパフォーマンス、唯一無二のアンサンブル、野呂がこの日の為に考え抜いたセットリストは大成功でした。CASIOPEAの47年の歴史を伝えると共に現在も進化し続ける鮮烈なサウンドを若い観客はしっかりと受け取ってくれた2026年LA公演 2daysとなりました。

As has already been reported by many media outlets, CASIOPEA’s concerts at “The Wiltern” in Los Angeles took place on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13!
On both September 12 and 13, “SOLD OUT” signs were displayed at the venue entrance. Long lines formed along the building from early in the morning as fans sought prime spots in the general standing area, with many young people eagerly awaiting the doors to open. This marked CASIOPEA’s first LA performance since their 1988 show at “The Roxy” as part of their world tour; since that concert also took place on September 13, this performance—exactly 38 years later—truly marked a historic moment.
The concert kicked off with “EYES OF THE MIND,” a memorable song recorded in Los Angeles 46 years ago. As the sound reverberated through the hall, the audience swayed to the music, and shouts of “Whoa!” erupted from all over the venue. The first segment featured a journey through CASIOPEA’s history, with eight songs spanning their first through fourth eras: “DAZZLING,” “GLORY,” “TOP WIND,” “A・O・ZO・RA,” “CATCH THE WIND,” “TODAY FOR TOMORROW,” and “THE HOPEFUL WORLD.” Enveloped by the sound of a CASIOPEA live performance for the first time, the excitement among nearly the entire audience soared instantly.
When the eighth song ended and Issei Noro picked up the microphone, chants of “Noro!” rang out. He greeted the crowd in English with “Hello Ladies & Gentlemen in Los Angeles!” and the audience responded by raising their arms high; he continued to conduct the rest of the MC entirely in English.
Next, as part of a segment featuring songs from last year’s album *TRUE BLUE*, each member introduced their own track. When he announced “SKY SO HIGH,” the crowd erupted in cheers, making it clear that the first album released by the fifth-generation CASIOPEA had truly taken root locally. They performed “CARAVEL” by Yoshiyori Imai, “EAGLE FLY AROUND” by Jun Abe, and “TIME FLIES BY” by Yoshihiro Naruse in that order. Before each member’s song, Noro introduced the performer, and the venue erupted as the audience chanted their names.
When Noro announced the remaining three songs in the “File Corner,” voices from the audience cried out, “We want to hear more!” and when the intro to “DOMINO LINE” began, even louder cheers rang out. Witnessing the “domino effect” live, the crowd went wild, cheering at the intricate technique. From “TOKIMEKI” to the final song of the main set, “ASAYAKE,” the audience rose to their feet in a massive sing-along, raising their fists high alongside the members as the energy reached a fever pitch. I could truly feel that the excitement—reminiscent of the 1980s fusion boom in Japan—was crossing borders, sparking a new movement centered around young listeners.
For the encore, they performed two songs in a row: “TAKE ME” and “FIGHT MAN,” both of which are very popular in the U.S. Even after a thunderous round of applause, the cheers didn’t subside when the four members lined up at the front of the stage, leading directly into a double encore… The song was “THE SKY,” which was a perfect fit for the clear blue skies of Los Angeles. With a total of 18 songs, this moving LA concert—which firmly captured the audience’s hearts—came to a close amid thunderous applause and shouts of joy.
The four members looked radiant as they waved back to the audience from the front of the stage. Their passionate performance, their one-of-a-kind ensemble, and the setlist that Noro had carefully crafted specifically for this day were a resounding success. These two days of the 2026 LA concert allowed the young audience to fully experience not only CASIOPEA’s 47-year history but also their vibrant sound, which continues to evolve even today.
