やっと、梅雨がきたと思えば蝉の鳴き声が聞こえてきて、もう夏がやってきたんだな～と感じる今日この頃です。

今回は、この日本スタディーツアーで来日予定のフィリピン人スタッフであるアレンから、期待のメッセージが届きましたのでご紹介させて頂きます(^^)♪

アレンは2016年からアクセスに入職し、現在はアクセスフィリピンの副事務局長としても活躍してくれている、とても頼もしい存在です！

こんにちは。

こんな数週間のうちに、私たちの日本スタディツアーのためにこんなにも大きなご寄付が集まったことに、とっても驚き興奮しています。貧困に苦しむ人たちの力になりたいと願う私たちNGOの活動に、これほどたくさんの人たちが共感してくれている。そのことの証だと感じています！

11月に予定されている日本スタディツアーを通して、私は日本文化をより理解したいと思っています。たとえば、日本の人々はなぜあれほど時間を守ることを大切にするのか、といった、日本の人々が長年大切にしてきた良い習慣や価値観といったものを理解したいのです。

日本からフィリピンにやってくる人々と接する中で、日本の人々は予定やものごとをきちんと管理して行動するのだなあと感じてきました。そうした日本の価値観は、これから訪れる日本の街並みや地域の様子にきっと反映されているはずで、それがどんなものなのか、ぜひ自分の目で見てみたいと思っています。

Hi. I am thrilled that in a span of few weeks, we have gathered ample amount money to fund our program of study tour in Japan. It is an expression of how people appreciates our NGO and its cause of helping the poor!

I am very excited that thru this study tour, we can improve our understanding of the Japanese culture, how the people value different traits that sounds so positive just like how Japanese people give so much value in being prompt/on-time. I want to see how people spend their daily lives.

In my experience meeting Japanese visitors, I have noticed how they are organized with schedule and things, I think it will show in the surroundings and facilities of different areas/cities that we will visit- that is what I want to see in our visit.
