皆様、ご無沙汰しております。活動報告です。先日カリフォルニアのLAまで行って、モモ監督に会ってきました。そして足りなかったナレーションの録音をしてきました。当初の予定より何年も遅れてしまっていますが、着実に完成に近づいております。もちろん言い訳にしか聞こえないでしょうが当初予算400万円で製作予定だったものが目標金額に達しなかったので、その足りなかった分を自分達で工面しながらなので、現在まで製作が伸びてしまっています。どうかご理解ください。そしてコロナパンデミックの状況の中でも編集やナレーションについての話し合いを進めてきました。そして先週やっとモモ監督と直接会って作業を進めることが出来ました。今後の展望としては今年中に作品を完成させてアメリカ、もしくは日本の映画祭に応募していく事です。同時に出資してくれた方達へのリターンも行います。決して忘れた訳ではありませんので、もう少しだけお待ちください。引き続き応援よろしくお願い致します。よし＆モモ

皆様、こんにちは。お元気でしょうか。映画についての情報が最後に届いてから更に2年が経ってしまいました。そこでヨシと私から最新の情報をお伝えしたいと思います。 ここ数年間は私たち全員にとって大変な期間でした。パンデミックが発生する前に、90分のドキュメンタリーの編集を終え、オーディオミックス、色調整、作品内で使う音楽を完成させる為に、さらに制作資金を調達する予定でした。しかし、パンデミックが発生して、私たちが申し込んだ全ての助成金は停止し、残りの作業を完了する為の資金を調達する事が出来ませんでした。私達はパンデミックの当初には出来なかった多くの映画祭にこのドキュメンタリーを直接持ち込みたいと思っています。 その為、この2年間、私はヨシの映像を何度も繰り返し見て編集を可能な限り最高の形にする為に取り組んできました。 今、世界はゆっくりと以前の様な通常に戻ろうとしています。日本まで行きヨシと会って映画を仕上げることが出来ればと思います。 皆様のご理解に深く感謝致します。ヨシと私はこのドキュメンタリーを何よりも皆さんに見て貰いたいですし、これ以上待たせる必要がないことを願っています。そしてヨシが直接観客とお会いして、笑顔を分かち合い、素晴らしい旅の話を語ってくれる事を願っています。 ご協力本当にありがとうございます!Hi everyone, I hope that you are all doing well. It’s been another two years since we had any updates on the film, so Yoshi and I wanted to give you an update on where we are.The past couple of years has been challenging for all of us. Before the pandemic, we had just finished editing this 90-minute documentary. We had planned to get more funding to finish the audio mix, color grading, and music score, but when the pandemic hit all of the grants that we had applied for had stopped, and we could not raise more funds to complete the remaining work. Additionally, Yoshi and I also want to bring the documentary to many film festivals in person which we weren’t able to do earlier in the pandemic.So, during the past couple of years, I have been going through Yoshi’s footage over and over to get the editing to the best shape it can be.Now, it seems like the world is slowly opening up. I hope I can travel to Japan to meet up with Yoshi to finish the remaining work for the film. There isn’t that much left to do.Thanks so much for your patience. Yoshi and I want you all to see this documentary more than anything, and we hope that you don’t have to wait much longer. 皆様、こんにちは！お元気でしょうか？世界中大変な状況が続いておりますがお変わりなければ良いのですが。遅くなってしまいましたがモモ監督より近況報告です。親愛なるドナーの皆さま、こんにちは。前回のアップデートからもう1年以上経ったなんて信じられません！ドキュメンタリー映画を作る事はとても大変と言われていますが。はい、正にその通りですね。何年もかかっております。（今のところ）純粋にクラウドファンディングだけで成り立つロジェクトとして、この映画は時間もかかり資金面でも苦労しております。なかなか上手くはいきませんが、そのお陰でこの映画の素材と物語の多層性への理解もより深まっています。結論から言いますと現在トンネルの終わりにようやく光が差してきたところです。 3年間の制作と編集を経て、ようやくフィニッシュラインに到達したと言えます。最後の仕上げを待つ85分の完全な物語が出来あがりました！現在、音楽の権利と楽譜を確保するための資金調達オプションを模索しています。その後映画の完成と最終的な配給に取り掛かれればと思っています。何卒ご理解とご支援を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。私たちの目標は、世界の状況が落ち着く事を願いつつ、まずは映画祭に作品を出展したいと思っています。この長い旅の最後の段階についてまた近況報告させて頂きます。お待ち頂いている間に是非映画の１クリップをご覧下さい。モモHello our dear donors,It's hard to believe it's been over a year since our last update! We are truly proving the clichés about documentary filmmaking timeframes... yes these things take years.As a (so far) purely crowdfunded project, this film has had its own slow gestation, often at the mercy of our time and finances.  Though this has often been terribly frustrating, the silver lining has been the growth of a deeper understanding of our material and multi-layered story. All this to say that there is finally some light at the end of the tunnel! After three years of developing and editing, we can finally say we are at finishing line! We have a 85 minutes of a complete story ready for some final touch! Currently we’re exploring more financing options to secure music rights and scoring, we hope to soon have support for the completion and eventual ditribtuion of the film. We truly thank you for your patience ans support along the way. Our goal is to submit the film to film festivals and secure distrution this year when the world is in a better place, we will keep you updated in this last stage of this long journey. 皆さまお元気でしょうか？ご無沙汰しております。今日はモモ監督より近況報告をさせて頂きます。 以下監督からです。 応援してくださっている皆さま、楽しい夏をお過ごしでしょうか？映画の進行状況をお知らせします。現在編集作業の第一段階の最後のラインに近づいています。これは、映画の大部分が完成に近づいているという事です。しかしまだ日米での撮影が残っており、今年の後半には撮影と編集を完了することを目指しています。当初7月中にリターンをお送りする計画だったのですが、編集が遅れているため日本に戻ってリターンをお送りする事が出来ておらず皆様には大変ご迷惑をおかけしております。今年の年末に日本に行った際に全部お送りしますので、今しばらくお待ち頂けますでしょうか？何かリクエストがある場合は私たちにご連絡ください。ご意見を頂ければと思います！そして私たちの製作状況を見守って下さい。今後数カ月間に更なるアップデートを予定しています。 Our dear backers, happy summer! We're excited to give you some updates on the film progress. We're nearly at the finishing line of the first round of editing, which means big part of the film are in the can! We still have more filming to do in Japan and US, we aim to complete filming and editing later this year. Initially we had planned to send out our backer return this July, but we fell a little behind on the editing part, so we are not able to return to Japan to send out your rewards. We'd like to ask your patience, once we return to Japan later this year, we will send them all out. But if you have request, please reach out to us, we'd like to hear from you!
