Right now, we’re working on the manufacturing of the platforms, one of the key parts of the project. This process is not simple, as each platform requires several production steps, which we are gradually completing.In the video below, you can see an example of the platforms in one of the early stages of the process. Dear Backers!First of all, we want to thank you for your patience. We know this update has taken a little longer than usual, summer always complicates work schedules and has caused some additional delays. Nevertheless, we’ve been very busy getting production up and running, and today we have great news: Production has started! The factory is now working on producing the units. It’s not very large and has some limitations, so we estimate that all stages of manufacturing will be completed within approximately two months.After so much time, effort, and dedication, we can say that we are very close to the finish line. The project we’ve built together is about to become a reality!Thank you for your support, for believing in us, and for joining us on this journey! QSS Team

支援者の皆さまへ前回のアップデートでお伝えした通り、米国の支援者が大多数であることから、トランプ政権の貿易政策による国際関税問題を回避するため、生産拠点をベトナムへ移転いたしました。この変更は米国外の支援者の皆さまにも影響がございますが、コストの都合上、地域ごとに生産ラインを分けることは現実的ではないため、全ての製品は一括でグローバル生産プロセスにて製造しております。前回のご報告では、生産開始日の確定を工場から待っている状況とお伝えしましたが、この度、工場から8月第1週に生産を開始するとのスケジュールをいただきました。これにより、9月第2週頃より出荷を開始できる見込みです。ここまでお待ちいただいている皆さまのご理解とご辛抱に心より感謝申し上げます。いよいよ最終段階に入り、これ以上の遅延は発生しない見込みです。引き続きご支援のほど、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。QSSチームより

Hi Backers!We’d like to share an important update regarding the manufacturing of QSS. Due to the ongoing tariff conflict between the U.S. and China, and following messages and suggestions from many of you, we’ve made the decision to relocate production to Vietnam.This change is intended to reduce risk and uncertainty, and to avoid the rising costs and delays associated with manufacturing in China under current trade conditions. Vietnam presents a more stable alternative for ensuring smooth and reliable production.The new factory in Vietnam has confirmed their ability to manufacture our product. However, due to high demand (many companies are making the same shift), our production slot will likely begin in about two months. While this does mean a additional wait, we firmly believe it’s a better option than depending on the resolution of the China–U.S. trade situation, which could take much longer.We truly appreciate your continued patience and support. Hi Backers!We want to thank you once again for your incredible support and patience throughout this journey. We know you're eager to have QSS in your hands, and that’s why we feel it's important to keep you informed with complete transparency at every step.QSS is being manufactured in China and is currently entering the second phase of production. The first phase of production is the slowest, as several machines need to be modified and finely adjusted before manufacturing can begin, in order to produce a product that requires maximum precision. Everything was ready to begin the second phase of production, however, we are now facing an unexpected situation that is significantly impacting our production and shipping timeline. As many of you may know, the tariffs recently imposed by the U.S. administration on goods coming from China are causing major complications across the sector. At the same time, China has also increased tariffs on the U.S. These tariffs have not only drastically increased the cost of the materials needed for our product, but they are also affecting the logistics, with shipping now involving extremely high additional costs that would be unaffordable for most of you. On top of that, storing the finished product while this situation is resolved would also generate considerable expenses that we had not foreseen and that were not included in our original budget.We’ve held off for several days, absorbing significant costs, in hopes that the situation might improve. However, the uncertainty continues, and things remain unchanged for now. After carefully evaluating all options, we believe the best decision for the project —and for all of you— is to temporarily pause production until the trade situation becomes clearer and we can resume under more favorable conditions. This step will allow us to protect the project’s resources and ensure the final product meets the high quality we aim for, without compromising any part of the process.We understand that this news may be frustrating, and we truly empathize. Please know that we are actively working on solutions and alternatives to move forward as soon as possible.
