We want to thank you once again for your incredible support and patience throughout this journey. We know you're eager to have QSS in your hands, and that’s why we feel it's important to keep you informed with complete transparency at every step.

QSS is being manufactured in China and is currently entering the second phase of production. The first phase of production is the slowest, as several machines need to be modified and finely adjusted before manufacturing can begin, in order to produce a product that requires maximum precision. Everything was ready to begin the second phase of production, however, we are now facing an unexpected situation that is significantly impacting our production and shipping timeline. As many of you may know, the tariffs recently imposed by the U.S. administration on goods coming from China are causing major complications across the sector. At the same time, China has also increased tariffs on the U.S. These tariffs have not only drastically increased the cost of the materials needed for our product, but they are also affecting the logistics, with shipping now involving extremely high additional costs that would be unaffordable for most of you. On top of that, storing the finished product while this situation is resolved would also generate considerable expenses that we had not foreseen and that were not included in our original budget.

We’ve held off for several days, absorbing significant costs, in hopes that the situation might improve. However, the uncertainty continues, and things remain unchanged for now. After carefully evaluating all options, we believe the best decision for the project —and for all of you— is to temporarily pause production until the trade situation becomes clearer and we can resume under more favorable conditions. This step will allow us to protect the project’s resources and ensure the final product meets the high quality we aim for, without compromising any part of the process.

We understand that this news may be frustrating, and we truly empathize. Please know that we are actively working on solutions and alternatives to move forward as soon as possible. As soon as we have concrete updates, we’ll share them with you immediately.
